F-Zero GX Speed Run: Master Mode beaten with Golden Fox [HD] 

That machine. Could it be? But he's dead. The Golden Fox is in the grand prix! One of the original four of F-Zero. The Golden Fox is normally avoided in the first game. I love it in all the games. GX is no different. It's yellow so it's name is right. The streamlined design is nice and the spoiler is cool. The red and black stripes give it more style. Now then, analysis. It's a pretty heavy machine. It jumped 400 kg from the original game in X going from 1020 to 1420 kg. Despite that, the acceleration is awesome. As such, top speed sucks. It's pretty heavy but has a D in body. Boost is nice. It more than makes up for the speed. It isn't as unstable as it was in 1990 though. It's got some good cornering capabilities reflecting the SNES days. Pretty good car. The stats spell DAD. Pretty clever since Dr. Stewart's father Kevin built it. What's funnier is my master mode PRSLS victory with it.

Terrible? For all its faults I always liked how the GF handled. Good booster, smooth drifting, quick accel.

The number of times "WTF" passed through my mind during Mute City Serial Gaps is just... wow.

My God, the game controls much better with control calibration!! Only took me 12 years to find out... Thx Uchiha Madao.

This used to be my favorite machine when I was a kid. These days, though, I kinda hate it for different reasons in each game (except for X, I don't mind it in that game at all). In the original, the reasons should be obvious - it handles like it's on ice 100% of the time (I do think it looks freakin' awesome design-wise in SNES F-Zero, though. A lot better than its later incarnations). In GX, it's a completely different issue - its boost drains a LOT of energy. I just don't like how it goes from full energy to practically nothing so quickly when boosting. I never played GP Legend so I can't say much about it there. As for Climax, it's more my fault but I never could figure out how to drive this thing in that game.

You would think that a doctor has steady hands and a feeling for precision. Not this machine apparently. >x>

Dr. Stewart is a very flamboyant man.

I have always loved Golden Fox whether I'm playing X or GX and Dr. Stewart has BY FAR the best pilot theme song.

The Golden Fox is my go to Machine. I dunno it just does it for me. Also like The Big Fang.

Personally, I like the Mute City: Serial Gaps, song better than the other Mute City song.

GF is a very great machine for new players as its very good with handling and doesnt really slip like others but its bad when it comes to wanting to speedrun/going fast and yes i know this a is a very old video, i just found it sooo.. >_>

I used this machine to beat the Diamond Cup in Master difficulty for the first time. While I did horrible on Phantom Road (+ the cheating CPU), the previous course's placings made up for it. I have a question : do you use a specific configuration, or do you go with the default controls ?

having the game as a kid i was never able to beat master, then reading years later u could unlock the AX cup by beating all other cups on master i went back and did it, people say u could only get ax cup with gameshark but seeing you have it, can you confirm you unlocked the AX cup by beating the first 4 on master as well?
