DOWNLOAD this hack: • F-Zero SNES on Legend ...
I am working on a hack called "F-Zero SNES: Legend Difficulty". In order to get things balanced I have to use some codes. I want to ensure that this game feels more like really dangerous racing. This video is just a demonstration, the hack isn't finished yet.
I used 4 codes in this video:
7E00C900: Every vehicle gets damaged much faster, also regenerating in the pit area gets messed up.
7E00D121 Every vehicle has a top speed of 478, also you can't just simply block the other cars in order to gain speed, instead it will cause you to spin. But also causes the pit area to regenerate the shield instantly. (But there won't be any pit areas in my hack)
DF6C-0F0A You only have one spare machine at the beginning, you can still get one with a score of 10000 (If anyone knows a code to fix that please tell me)
7E0CF300 You can't use s-boosts. I don't like them because they give the player a very huge advantage over the CPU drivers.
If you know any interesting codes that can be useful for me please tell me.

The sudden silence right after the explosion gets me every time, it's like the whole game's in shock after such an accident.

I played this game when I was a kid. I would intentionally bump my racecar on the edge of the track until it exploded and had smoke coming out of it. I was laughing really hard every time it happened. Good times.

I just played the game for the first time and I keep getting blown up on the desert one after big blue and that explosion keeps catching me off guard

Thanks for uploading. All the lets plays and longplays only want to do 100% perfect runs so its hard to find audio of this easily on youtube

"Every vehicle has a top speed of 478, also you can't just simply block the other cars in order to gain speed" I know it's 10 years later, but I just found this video. This change in particular makes it more unbalanced. Everyone has the same top speed, so it boils down to acceleration. Since Golden Fox has the best acceleration out of the four, unless the player picks it, they'd never win. The result will always be the same; 1st Golden Fox 2nd Blue Falcon 3rd Wild Goose 4th Fire Stingray "You can't use s-boosts. I don't like them because they give the player a very huge advantage over the CPU drivers." And you took away the one thing that might help the player win. One step forward, two steps back.

That was a while back when I didn't know how to properly edit stats of the vehicles. I myself am not a big fan of this hack. I don't think that it only comes down to acceration though. Grip and speed loss while being off the accelerator are still very important stats. Blue Falon will have a better pace than Golden Fox on most tracks. Fire stingray still will be the fastest on many tracks, it is hard to overtake though. Wild goose in particular suffers the most. He does have only disadvantages compared to blue falcon in this hack which indeed is bad.
