Very excited for this year. Was beyond thrilled when the F1 Manager series started with 22. I felt like 23 was a step up from 23 but not massively. Felt more like 22.5 than 23. But this is a huge upgrade. Properly pumped to get my hands on 24. I will be pouring an unhealthy amount of hours into this entry ha!
I wish that reserve drivers get even more important. I want them to do a race like Bearman did in Jeddah. Implement a small chance that a main driver is injured or sick. Then the reserve driver has to fill in. 👍🏻
@@Hyper_nova I want to know if the affiliate slots helps development. If yes, that is already a huge step. However the reserve driver still needs more relevance because otherwise it will just be a "Good Driver but no driver slot free"-spot.
Please add detailed historical data, record, statistics, etc for Drivers and Team. So the players will play a hundred/thousand of hours to beat some records like 8x WDC or 17x WCC.
I'm amazed every time how many USEFUL feature was added to the game I'm just as excited for this game as I was for 2022, if not more One more thing to add is a quick key to hide UI to just watch and enjoy racing (also would be good for a "photo mode")
having others categories could be great, not necessarily to manage, but just to observe, also getting newspaper or fake tv channel in the game could add to the immersion.
Yeah. I can't wait for this game. I've never followed a series from it's start. One thing I've noticed is that they have put the real steering wheel in
This looks really good. I hope everyone with an interest in F1 and in management/sim games picks up F1 Manager 24. It looks to be the best of the series. I'm finally gonna pick up the game, that I know.
We did criticise you for F1 Manager 2022 and 2023 ...and to this day i think the critique was fair enough. But now the game looks like what the fans wanted to look like from the start. If we can critique we also can praise, and thats what the fans are doing now. Well done. For now you are on the right path. The game looks very good and the price is fair.
F1 manager is a game it's a game where you never get bored...accidents...pit stops where you don't know what's going to happen...now even mechanical failures...that's how games should be...never boring and exciting... what's more, everything is under license.. we sincerely hope that the 24th will be the same or better than 2023.. I set the race difficulty to be difficult in 2023 and I must say that it is very exciting.. well done guys, keep going and never give up
We needed so much such a game! Remembering F1 manager back from 2000, from EA years. It's great that you brought it back and give it a refreshment with new features etc. I want one day to see custom seasons, so that we will be able to re-create something like F1 season 2000, a great memory!!!!
i would like to see more of each race. before and maybe after, formation laps for example, also a pit wall camera would be super cool, with the menus being on the screens, i know this may be quite a task tho, also being able to save races as replays that needs to be a thing
I'm sure it would come in future games but a highlights real from f2/f3 would be cool and a way to scout other drivers in a visual sense. Tyre testing and testing events so that we have more opportunities to let our reserve/affiliates into the car and as a pre season event to sharpen the focus of our drivers (could add a mechanic where drivers lose focus/sharpness during breaks). I'd love to see a system where you could send affiliate drivers to other series for experience too I.e rally, GT series, indy car or incorporate a way for your team to sponsor another team in a different series like Le Mon etc and it could have a way to earn a split of the prize money + driver stat boosts etc, what I'm trying to get at is the game is visually amazing and each year features are added BUT after a few seasons you've experienced it all, id really love to have a way to build a true franchise, grow drivers that then maybe don't end up in F1 (like real life) but due to you sponsoring them enables your brand to earn additional income, random events, attending media days which could impact your team for race weekends etc etc just to make it feel like a much richer deeper experience like football manager. But continue the good work and if this is ever picked up I just hope it helps with a few ideas.
You know its great to finally be able to make a team and also start cultivating new drivers...but.... For f1 Manager 25 I hope to see us being able to start our team in f3 and move our way up like we could in Motorsports Manager back in 2017.
Random question I don’t think I’ve seen answered so far but can you create a team and then leave them and move to an official team later on, or is it like MyTeam on the F1 games and you’re locked to just your team?
I asked that question in the official Discord. Following the mods answer: You can only create a Team once and that is in the first season. So you cant Start with Mclaren for example and then create a team during 2026. If you want to create a team it has to be 2024, you will however be able to create a team in 2024 and then switch teams per usual at the end of each season. Example: You create Team Toyota in 2024 and you switch to Redbull in 2027. This will work. I am no part of Frontier in any way just a fan that had the same question a few days ago and i am forwarding what has been said to me. Hope i was able to help
The Accident recovery is huge! might be over looked by some but my god has it been the biggest petpeve, and the greatest cause for me to stop playing the game simply just cause I get frustrated watching my driver sit there and just wait for every one and the mother to pass. HUGE
Few asks - Strategy advisor, Material manager ( see previous asks) I imagine one of the car failures will be fluid ( breaks ) plus ( Verstappens break pad explosion) electrical failure ( Albon) etc, Also probably one of the only people to ask for more stat numbers in the car details parts .
Was it ever explained in F1 Manager 23 why some drivers that weren't really old would just disappear from the game? For example, I was in my 5th season at Ferrari, and Liam Lawson just couldn't be found anymore. It makes sense when people like Alonso and Hamilton are old as you just assume they retired.
Please add set-ups so you can save dif powertrain configs for practice, qualy and race! will make it way easier to manage the powertrain instead of having to manually switch every component every time!
If I don't get "Smoooooth Operator" and "We are checking" I will not even consider to buy the game. I consider this as an essential feature. And Vettel. WE WANT Vettel! Even if it takes to clean the great pacific garbage path or recover the ozone hole. Then it'll be shut up and take my money.
@@sxx01 Just see for yourself mate. Since EA acquired F1, they have dropped the ball so many times. The only decent game they made in the series was 23, but it wasn't anything revolutionary. Now, F1 Manager, in 3 years, managed to go from a simple Motorsport Manager 2.0, F1 Version, to a much more complex and fun to play game with a lot of mechanics you often don't see in managment games (like this year's mentality system). And the community feedback matters for them, and it don't take long for them to adress issues and work on fixes and new gameplay mechanics
Also put how much an update should give an advantage in terms of lap time for example -0.200 tenths and same thing for engines, how much impact does choosing Ferrari, Honda or Renault have in terms of lap time.
I'd love to know if the Hamilton to Ferrari move is reflected into the game since it was confirmed a while ago. Also if we get notified if there is a driver transfer involving other teams
Just had an idea - instead of just upgrading buildings/facility to level 5 and repairing them , ( like McLaren you can build new ones ) ~ Wind tunnel level 5 ( becomes outdated after X seasons ) option to rebuild/ or build a new one, same with says manufacturing facility etc, Email - construction starts on F1Managers new Manufacturing facilities building that once built will replace there old/aging manufacturing building with state of the art equipment construction starts in 2028 and will be finished in 2029 ( with a x bonus to % ) ( or in a specialty 🤷🏼♂️ say rear wing Or side pods ( RNG) (TBD)
There is one thing to add to which is an already class game is that say randomly a driver needs to sit out do to an issue like family or surgery. For example a family wedding (which is obviously unrealistic but it's called a placeholder) or like how sainz had his apendix removed. Or even how grosjean had that crash and had to sit out for a while
I have a question have you changed the start of the races so your team don't drop down the order because if tyre temps because in f1 manager 23 I had a good qualifying but lost a position to a haas
This all seems great, but I'm a little concerned with the driver poaching, especially between AI teams, that the fact that they can poach a driver to start from the next race will mean that we get a revolving door of drivers continuously switching teams throughout the season, which would get a bit ridiculous. Hopefully it wouldn't be that bad, but I don't trust the AI to regulate themselves and be realistic with it.
I’m curious, is the fact that AI has consequences on how much they push the engines is a thing carried over from 23 or is it new for 24? Edit: Another way to put this is do the AIs have to manage all the same things the player does, (like driver confidence, set-up confidence , tyre temps, etc)
My biggest question as a content creator and the biggest thing that sucks the fun out of this game is the cost of components engine power unit parts and manufacturing new upgrades etc for example in 23 an engine is 5 million thats more then the highest damage of last years real life Formula 1 23 entire seasons worth of damage if your striving for realism this NEEDS TO BE FIXED , i know im only a flippen small fry creator but that doesnt make my point of view any less valid then the big guys i really love this game franchise so much my balls hurt this is why im so passionate about this bc it pissed me off so much i have not even completed 1 season on a game i love ( curently my yt series is close to complete 1 season ) cheers and much love from the hairy Aussie Wombat stressed out over other teams idiots smashing up my cars lol
I mean the regulations say the cost of buying engines from a manufacturer is $15m a season, at 4 engines a season that's $3.75m per engine. A little less, but it's not markedly different, it's a major expense!
@@mcraig yes 3.75 not 5 million id be very happy with 3.75 easy my point is they went from them being too cheep to being too much one extreme to the other
When engine development? In 2026 there are rules changes. Furthermore, the real motor values should be 100 Ferrari horsepower, 97 Honda, 95 Mercedes and 91 Renault. With the best hybrids in order Honda, Mercedes, Ferrari and Renault. These are not data invented by me but verified by data analysts
I just bought the latest My little pony game. On a disc. Are you really telling me, a My little pony game gets a physical release, but your fully licensed F1 product gets treated like a 10 dollar indie title? Get outta here!
