I don't know why but when I hear this song I just imagine the season being summer nice clear blue skies a nice breeze and racing in an F1 race. Don't ask me why its just how I feel when I listen to this song. It just gives that nice summer feeling to me and clears my mind.
I'm a new F1 fan, I've never played this game. But there's something about the style & uniqueness of this game that stood out to me. Coupled with this song, this game captured the energy & romanticism of the golden V8 era of F1.
I'm still chasing my first title with Virgin. I played most of the new games but this is my favorite, the way the cars handle, no DRS, no KERS, just setup and skill. Few racing games bring me joy like this one.
@@AdamTheMan1993Yes. It was technically allowed just like in 09 where a couple of cars used it, but I believe that the teams decided not to use it in 2010.

This game was so memorable for me. First F1 game in the US in years and it was a few months after my dad passed away. Music like this was exactly what I needed at the time. This game helped me get through a rough time.
My first ever racing game. Without this game, I wouldn’t have the amazing interest in racing as I do now. ESPECIALLY F1. I am now 16 and at the beginning of August am entering my first racing simulator league, wish me luck ! Edit a year and a bit later!: now 17, won multiple league racing titles on F1 games and other simulators. Participated in multiple 12 hour and 24 hour endurance events on iRacing, and still growing. :) Yet another edit. Now 18! Kept off the F1 games for the most part and honed in on iRacing and Assetto Corsa Competizione. Took home a league title on ACC driving an Aston Martin GT3; and still a sim racing fanatic.

I feel like crying listening to this from the amount of nostalgia. I remember playing this game when i was such a small child not understanding anything but still enjoyed it. Miss those times man.

Great F1 game in my opinion... wish they'd kept the career style of Sony though, with the emails, test drives, etc... really gave you the feeling of experiencing a career in F1 on and offtrack.
I played most of f1 games. Except the new ones (2016-2020) But why 2010 is unique? Why feels different? Example 2013 was good. But damn boring. Sponsored racing cars just racing around famous circuits. Boring menus, nothing is alive. Just look at 2010. this great music welcomes you with great f1 car roar. Menus are alive. People are there, they talking about upcoming race. Only con, race mechanics get too old. But still fun. Codemasters must feel F1 spirit, like 2010.
F1 2010 was the game that began my love of F1. The sport, the cars, the drivers. I need to play this again one day. Relive the memories. And the menu music ❤❤❤
i feel like f1 2016 is going to be just as amazing as f1 2010 ive never fealt this since f1 2010 because 2010 might not have had all the podiums and safety car but in my opinion its the best f1 game
2020... Still remembering the great times with this videogame after 4 years without an official one... Too long from 2006 to 2010 (I omit 2009 because it can't be considered as an F1 game)
This year in march i selled my ps3 to buy a ps4 and the only thing i regret that i cant play f1 2010 anymore but at least iam gonna get f1 2018 for christmas
It simply was a different time then. People were way more straight forward and life was a lot easier. My mates and i played this game a lot, doing online world cups and all that kind of things…
2010 was the year Sebastian Vettel took on 4 drivers to win the world championship: Mark Webber, Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso & Lewis Hamilton and Seb defeated them all and won his first title
