Hey @tiametmarduk I just started season 2 and bottas is now with Ferrari , leclerc with Mercedes , ricciardo at racing point , weber at Renault , raikonen to Williams hulkenberg to Alfa Romeo and Kubica is dropped
I really only discovered F1 racing last week through this game and discovered this channel on Monday after watching my first Grand Prix last weekend, which I loved. I've been binging these videos. I've learned a lot from this and love your editing and commentary as if its a live race! Looking forward to Season 2!
Loved watching these episodes the last couple weeks. I’m a casual player (play about 85 difficulty) and I plan on buying a steering wheel this week. Your videos have motivated me to get better and it’s made me enjoy playing the game even more
This season was mental. No dull videos, in each one things happened from left to right. Here's to hoping the 2nd one is even crazier. Much kudos, mate. All of them. ;)
Started watching this series half-hearted, now at episode 21, I looked for your career uploads every day! Seriously enjoying watching. Get ready for the insane Season 2 development and insane car speeds!
Let me guess AI wasn't calibrated Brakes aren't calibrated Weather isn't calibrated Jeff isn't calibrated Tires aren't calibrated Everything is still normal
After the regulation update mid season, whenever you invest in new parts in that department you dont have to also solidify them. They are made according to new spec.
The reason you save fuel even in Standard mix is because you're using Rich mix at some point during the race strategy programme (it takes your avg. fuel consumption per lap in the programme and applies thar to your fuel load for tge race.) Likewise, if you were to only use lean mix in the race strategy programme and still beat the target times, you'd have to either use lean mix for the whole race or massively overfuel the car (at least compared to what it tells you). Dont ask how I found out
I had Kimi retire on a formation lap at Abu Dhabi once for terminal damage in the last game, I also had Verstappen retire in Singapore. Both times I started down the field and missed what happened.
The track doesn’t always get faster In the rain it actually gets slower on the racing line because the rubber fills the imperfections in the road which means there’s more water in contact with the tires so there’s less traction Edit: Check 5:11 if you don’t know what I’m talking about
I think it s logical that you keep those upgrades because they will be adjusted to the terms while being developed while those you already own would have to be adjusted...I think you should go for that powertrain upgrade
The was the most intense race between me and my teammate the last 5 laps, it was basically 2-3 times each overtaking eachother every lap. But I came out on top. My last overtake early on the last lap had him slowing down a lot and so I pulled away into a comfortable lead. I went for it. I already won the championship with 6 or 7 races to go, but still :P And ALWAYS push on your first proposal attempt, it's easier to cut back to get it just right within the next 2 attempts than getting it just right on the first.
In my season I've had a vsc in azerbaijan and full safety car on the first lap of monaco, both from cars spinning and blocking the track but nothing from retirements so far
The only way a sc comes out is if u make a train of ai not move. So in a corner if u park the car the ai will hit each other to brake themselves then a sc will come out
If only the real Williams could be ran that way. They’re a F1 institution and it genuinely hurts seeing them suffer that way. Anyway back on topic. It’s been an incredible season from Tiametmarduk and I haven’t enjoyed it as much since his McLaren journey on F1 2017.
I finally got my first safety car tonight at Austria! Totally killed my 1-stop strategy but it came out at the perfect time and I was able to duck in to the pits and fight back to 8th! I think I could have been on for a 6th or 7th place finish because everyone else was doing a 2-stop!
Te safety car issue is an interesting one. I don't know how many times i get safety car in the game but i know i get a lot of VSC. In my game after almost every retirement they deploy the VSC. I am at that level when the VSC literally annoying.
About upgrading in a department with regulation changes. When I tried it in F1 2018 at the end of a season they failed. Don't know about this game. You would think that a development worked in the off season would comply with the "new regulations" but oh well
Yes, if you put an upgrade on with regulations changes and is in progress/on the car and it isn't adapted, you will lose it and have to develop it again!
eve weirder than that, the car broke down even though he took a grid penalty which probably means he changed something in the power unit so that it would not lead to a failure during the race
Ben actually finished Season 1 before Aarava? What sorcery is this? Seriously Ben I've been enjoying your career mode a lot and am looking forward to seeing a championchip battle next season :)
When the patch comes out will you restart career mode so the patch gets taken into account for team performance? The update won't nerf cars from a current career mode right?
Just got my first VSC in France. Two cars out on the same lap in heavy rain with wet tyres. And apparently that was only worth VSC and not a safety car...
Funny think calibrate pedals was meme here but i stared career for McLaren losing speed on straights and in Canada just checked full gas pedal down and 98-99% so nice :D
In my career: Leclerc to McLaren Hamilton to Ferrari with vettel Norris to Mercedes And god I really don’t understand how haas is now winning race after race
Hi, why does it look like bubbles are coming out of the back of car when the plank hits the floor?? Instead of Sparks.. still it's been good watching you race 🔥🔥
