Absolutely insane thinking about the G forces on the vehicle during some of those corners... That G force most certainly exceeds the gravitational acceleration a lot of the time. Imagine your reality being rotated 90 degrees and the force you'll experience downward. Imagine that force being EVEN greater! I love F1! Thanks for posting!

I was lucky enough to go to Silverstone last year. The cars blew my mind! Its crazy watching them on high speed corners, better than on TV. People say they miss the sound of the older engines but I think these cars are awesome.

One lesson I wish broadcast TV would figure out... if you keep the camera still on a turn complex, you’ll see how quickly the cars change direction and accelerate, which is *_remarkably_* quick !! But no, the camera usually follows the car through the turn so you can’t get a sense of the speed. As t’other bloke mentioned, if you see a race in person you get to see that as well...

NateDog if you watch F1 just for the sound then just watch the older footage instead of demanding current regs to use the outdated v10 engines. The later years of the v10 era was boring and you cant deny that. The sound was good but it was boring most of the time

Due to the speed of the car the air moves so fast over the wing, that the water in the air condensates. I believe it is because faster air has less pressure so that in this case the moving air gets cooled down until it reaches its dewpoint. And apparently the air is especially fast at the tip of the wing. You can also see it at planes taking off in foggy conditions.

boboprime2000 the ones who also made the rules are also engineers. A regulation like this will shake up the order in more ways than one thats the point in simplifying the aero so that the teams have a new template to work on and guess all over again what works best and not. Thats the reason for the change so that the lower teams have less of a mountain to climb up to get to the top order

there are 3 lights this year instead of 1, on every car, to improve visibility in the rain. When the lights are flashing red it means the battery is charging.

I dont know why people are still complaining about the V6-sound. Yes,2014 they were horrible but if you would go to a 2019 GP you would get amazed about how they sound. These engines are highly efficient and I‘d put engineering over sound. But I still get the point. V8-V12 were amazing

I really liked the sound of the V10, but for me, it makes no sense to go and put a V10 on a modern F1 car. While the cars would definetely be faster, V10s are unpratical in the sense of fuel consumption, overheating and weight. Modern F1 Cars are all about safety, hybrid eletric energy and engine maps. With V10s, the FIA would probably need to bring back refueling, or turn the engine down to avoid refueling, at which point i don't think it would be much different from a V6. That's exactly why they dropped V10s, because of safety reasons.
