ben. maybe get everyone to start on mediums. then everyone pulls in at the end of lap 1. we get a race result and we use both tyres and on the softest tyre for all but 1 lap.

Why didn"t no one just choose to use mediums when they were picking tires at quali. They could've probably lasted the whole race.

Ben, get the whole lobby to start on Med and pit for the Softs on the first lap. Then no one would be DSQ for tyre compound and the race can be properly finished and won.

Next time start with medium tires and change them to softs on 1st lap. Then actually drive at a normal pace, not trying to conserve like you did here

suggestion if you do it again: everyone qualifies and starts on mediums, pit end of lap 1 for softs so you get results related to actual tyre/pace management

Should have set the race to 100% to give enough distance. Everyone start with Med and pit after lap 1 for Softs to prevent disqualification. Fun contest.

I done this few days back. 50% at silverstone and I got to lap 49 out of 52 on softs before I got a puncture

What a waste of a video, barely anyone got a puncture

It's not comparable with real life: you were literally crawling for half the race. The guys who had punctures in real life where at a conservative but solid racing pace for 30 laps

I had a dream I met Ben last night

A full youtubeer championship of drive till the tiers explode with a full clander

Recently I did a full race at Monza, part of the classic cars championship. I got pole on tires that ended up having 15% wear, which meant that the game recommended a three-atop strategy to me. It had a point. My rear tires were the ones that were falling off very quickly. When I pitted on lap 20, the worst one was the left rear, with 93% wear. The next time I pitted was around lap 46 (30 seconds ahead of second place), and the worst one was again the left rear, this time with only about 88% wear. I won the race. :D

Next: race with punctured tires lol. That would be hilarious.

I would love if the game had a actual good tyre Model. Would make it way more strategic to drive. Also i Think puntcures should occure more often on Sim damage because there is maybe a 10% Chance that i get a puncture with tyres above 75%. Not to Talk about how the game dont cares if you drive across debris

Welp unfortunately for me (d'angelo.) guy hit me on the 2nd lap (6:20), so I spun and lost the front wing... so yeah 23ish laps without front wing to the finish line

I think a fun challenge would be to to set a race to 100% and against a 80-90 AI. The challenge is to drive as long as possible on 1 set of tyres without being lapped.

i did a one stop here, softs to hards with 25% race in my carrer, and i was at 60% all round in the back and front right. Front left was 79%. Literally i was one curb away from a puncture

You have to do a REAL drive till you explode the tires. 50% race but you MUST push and really race each other. Then you can really see who has better control over tire wear. If you can race each other for real and make it into the pits first on the last lap that's a true test.

This is like real life silverstone 2020 Bottas’s tire blew up Sainz’s tire blew up Hamilton’s tire blew up
