Please note with the recent patch (25/07/2022) that the setups will have changed slightly, mainly the tyre temperatures as they are much more sensitive to overheating online, career and Grand Prix mode. These setups are still a good baseline for TT, but for online you will need to lower the tyre temperatures to avoid exceeding 102-105 degrees consistently when driving elsewhere. You should tell when to brake coming into the pits aswell, it would help massivly to avoid the speeding in pits penalties

Gone from a 1.05.8 to a 1.05.2 with this setup, do have a bit of an issue that i seem to get closer to spinning but shouldn't be a worry. The setups really help, the miami one improved me from a 29.5 to a 28.2

If this game is not a sim how come the lines are identical to real life I find the accuracy staggering in how it imitates real f1 racing.

Can you give us a hint how to change a time trial setup to a race setup? Or what we have to look for when we change one? Because I use the time trial setup´s for races and it feels like it ruins my tires, consistency and my speed :P

He builds them to be pretty rateable so I’d say you can. You might have to tweak slightly though for tire wear or personal preference when racing

This is the first F1 game i've played, playing on controller so, know that already I'm at a disadvantage but, I'm trying to get to a point where I don't need the line to help me show corners coming up, what's the best way to get familiar with these tracks? Would it be just over and over and over again running time trials? I feel like if I had much better knowledge of these I can get faster as the corner line often slows me down. I just find it hard to remember every single track as there's like 22. Any tips would be great for remembering things

Im also on controller and I learnt the tracks by just doing time trial. Do that until you are able to do not fast but clean laps. Then turn on a rival telemetry from one of the top guys and try to follow that path and adjust your racing line to them so you improve your laptime drastically. Once you are somewhat happy with your time do a at least 50% grand prix so you can get used to following the track without focusing too much on it.

Do you need to remember the tracks though? Use the boards to know when to brake, and go out/in/out on most corners.

The traction is more difficult on this game. Try increasing your throttle linearity to 15 or 20 of you want to run with no tc

Just a shame that this game is so unstable at the moment. Server Errors, wont connect, F2 car acting wierd and more small issues. I dont get it... they are not making a new game every year, they are building on a old game and just making small changes. Not OK when you pay almost 70 euro for the game.
