well I guess, if nothing else, they at least got Red Bull + Max combo to have realistic performance. Game looks decent, but as you said, until they get a new engine for new visuals, I wont bother yet, probably gonna stick with F1 23 till 2026
@@f1_skiddy149 I agree. I’m an easily pleased guy and I mostly play career mode so the overhaul to the mode is a big plus for me. New handling seems solid too, if I wasn’t flat broke I’d definitely pick the game up
@@NavD1 Changing engine isn't going to guarantee it would look better, look at WRC EA, but it does guarantee more development cost/time which I don't see EA going for in this economy. They've tried meddling with the driving physics this year, but it looks like they need more time on that
@@kyperactive i mean i can just install it back again if i ever wanna get back to f1 2020 but hopefully when i get my new PC id be able to fit these two games together
when everyone was saying the handling model is horrible i said to myself that you probably just need to adapt and get used to thechanges, glad to hear i was right
I'm Going To Play F1 24 For Loads Of Hours This Game Is WAY Better Than F1 23 Like New Things And Stuff Always Makes Me Happy This Isn't A Mod Or F1 23.5 This IS F1 24
The handling seems to arcadic. They should turn the “ turn rate down” slightly. Make the car abit more sensitive and I’m not sure if they have but change the damage model
it seems good not sure about the UI at the bottem though. Hopefully the patches will adapt redbulls performance to be worse or for mcalren and ferrari to be buffed to match irl performance
I've never been so unhyped about a new F1 game. I just found out I got a closed beta invite, missed the dates, and I don't even care. This is after years of trying to get into a closed beta playtest. Also, they really need to abandon old gen consoles and do something about the graphics. Either that, or just release a driver roster update for old gen and keep the two gens divided.
Im a beta tester and the 1st 2 betas handling was crap! 3rd beta was a world of difference, I love the handling and engine brake, using stock setups i was competitive . Cant wait for some of the pro setups to drop. Already got the pre download and waiting on may 31 .
So you like the handling in its current state? Interesting, I hope it’s fun to drive but it doesn’t look very realistic and I hate that there is already a meta starting to form before the games even out
@@BobElgin my only problem with it is there’s already people in time trial on Silverstone who can go flat through maggots and becketts which should not be possible, I like the idea of it not being on ice but not if the grip is way too much if you know what I mean
@@CJ-uh8bk In the beta forum the questions on handling was thrashed over and over. Some things were above my head. Thats how deep they dove into handling. A lot of push in beta 1 Beta 2 dealt with car physics (roll thru the corners) You will spin ,but it depends on how you drive, so some out there wont be able to Deep Dive into the corners. I tested 48 hours combined betas. I think eveyone will be happy with the handling. Some wont.
@@BobElgin as a second and third beta tester - no. Second was undriveable but third was barely an improvement as the inherent issues were still present. Cars feel floaty and the grip is stupid. The weight transfer feeling is non existent, except they've put a load of roll into the camera to make you feel like it's dynamic. I canceled my preorder because I got so bored driving it.
There is no freaking way you should be able to make up 7 tenths with DRS and ERS. Real life cars can't even overtake with a 3 tenth gap. But in this game, you can be twice as far back and get ahead? I really don't like the direction EA is taking this title.
@@Aim____Higherputting down the power was not easy, it takes way too much modulation compared to the real thing. The real cars have lots of grip. They don’t struggle to put down the power in the real cars
In my opinion. For a Brazilian guy like me this game isn't worth buying. Because it's like a dlc for F1 2023 only changing some silly things and calling it a new game 🙄🙄
fkn finally, driver career lmao Still, game looks like a reskin so definetly not getting it now Maybe if 25 is on a new engine and doesnt run on my pc,but definetly not anytime soon
14:30 You can tell this game is legit... maybe not at the moment but more at the start of the season this was very legit Great video, can't wait to see what this game can bring
im mixed about this game...first of all the annoying woman that replaced emma...second the handling might be even worse than 2022 thirdly they removed Paul ricard...so one less track ...not good
@@f1_skiddy149 codemasters is literally the game development under EA. I get that EA is (as usual) making very poor decisions but codemasters even without ea has been mild at best. 2020 was peak but still 2020 was the same stuff they are doing now. New coat of paint and there ya go -70€
Complaining about the AI being too easy when you people were complaining about the AI being hard last year and in F1 22. Make up your mind. The AI being easy should be the least of your worries about this game.
