just my 2 cents but nobody in America considers Haas a American team, just a team a American happens to own. Always great to see Uncle Joe, very sad his Prius died but at least it did it in the dramatic way possible for a Prius.
100% Beatrice Haas (Carl Haas of Newman Haas) was the last true American team. They don't even do anything patriotic for the three races here (in 36 years of being a fan here in the U.S. I could have never imagined that). Even the car liveries are so bland.
Alpine should try and get Pourchaire. If Audi isn't interested in him, just take him. He's only 20 years old and already won so much. Jack Doohan seems good, but not necessarily a top prospect.
Zhou is a pay driver. Picking him over Pourchaire Drugovich de Vries was criminal.. Especially if you consider the concentration camp situation in China... To forget about the human rights a lot of money must have been offered to Sauber..
Pourchaire wasn't ready when they made that choice, same with Drugovich and De Vries no one saw a prospect in apart from Marko who's admitted that he was wrong. Zhou had some commercial potential (but that wasn't as much as they thought it would be, and we don't see any Chinese sponsors on the car), but also was a decent driver.
