I think it's wild how hard and long lando worked for his first win - and how he had to gift one the same season to a sophomore 🤭 not saying Oscar didn't earn it, but I can't believe lando only has 1 win.

McLaren are not winning any championship this year, so this was the right thing to do and give Piastri a win. They still retain the same constructors points. Lando may need the favor returned one day anyways. This is how you build teammates that help each other for the team0. Teaching them it's a team sport is what makes champions.

What utter bullshit, faster driver stays in front, if you want a win then drive for it, team orders ruin racing more than the FIA do. Team orders are the equivalent of everyone gets a cup for competing, its a joke.

McLaren's strategy has been shite but Lando has also dropped points where he shouldn't have. He can't pin it on this _one_ moment. If Lando doesn't win WDC, it's his and McLaren's fault. It can't all rest on this one decision.

Except, unlike Ferrari, McLaren actually won the race.

@@albertleung3690 The explanation was that the team made an error in tire strategy that caused Piastri to lose the lead to Norris, so having Piastri in front was "the proper order". However, after the mistake, Piastri continued to lose ground to Norris, meaning Norris was faster on the track, meaning that Norris likely could have overtaken Piastri on the track if he had to.

it was easy by now having best car on the circuit ..but now his car is not so fast, McLaren is coming strong and his nervous .By now the problem was what will be the distance between his red bull and the second now he must fight for his position and is making a lot of mistakes

He doesn't drive on the edge. When his entitlement is questioned, he goes over the edge, and he doesn't care who gets in his way. That is not a safe driver.
