Why are so many people favoring Mercedes? Yes it was moderately strong in Canada, but Ciruit de Gilles Villeneuve has almost nothing in common with Barcelona.
media just need to hang content for other media to comment so they can go and say "rumors are" ad eternum or until something really happens (sportwise or not), specially in rawe ceek. Also, they're British, these are their last chances to boost LH and Merc will probably be worse next year.
honestly, every media channel is like this. Ferrari have to fight their way into the conversation, Red Bull is one bad quali session from being "dethroned", and Merc and Maclaren have this immunity and eternal optimism. Its extremely exhausting, but it's worth it to watch them eat their predictions, and it's impressive to watch them come back week after week saying the same thing without realizing their bias
Driven wasn't that bad. I fully expect that F1 movie to basically be a modern F1 version of Driven. The script even sounds similar. If they think Sriven was bad I think they gunna be disappointed by this new F1 movie
@erikvermolen8371 the movie is about Brad Pitt lmfao. What does it have to do with black men? Also which successful f1 driver isn't atleast slightly narcissistic?
As far as I know, PU won't be frezeed (as the current ones) after 2026 so Alpine's should be really bad if that's the reason they dropping it. Also, as everybody knows, Honda has an exclusivity contract with AM, so...
If Alpine have an entry and no engine, under FIA regulations Honda being the smallest engine supplier would have to supply them with an engine..the same was being talked about regarding Andretti joining F1 Renault would have to supply them with an engine as smallest supplier, ie one team..
With regards to FIA rule changes. I'd be in favor of a new rule that states drivers making team changes not being announced until the last couple of races of a given season. All this talk of drivers leaving one team for another IMHO detracts and distracts from the reason I watch F1. For the racing action, Not the DRAMA DISTRACTION!
Honda or toyota The minimum age for F1 should be 23 years old to preserve the brand of F1 and bring through investment in Formula e and formula 2. Pointless for all sponsors taking on children.
In 30+ years I've missed @10 races In 2024 out of 10 races I've watched 2 races Daddy's money kids and corporate greed have practically killed this sport
How is going to Williams a good idea... They will deff be the slowest Merc engine team, Honda have proven they can make a great engine too... why not go with audi.. As Ron Dennis said and has always been right about.. YOU CANT WIN A TITLE AS A CUSTOMER TEAM AS LONG AS THE MANUFACTURER IS ON THE GRID... Had Fat Brown stayed with Honda look where he could have been
Nobody said this about Alpine's decision but I'm dead sure they're going to reverse engineer that engine when the supplier isn't looking 😂 Only reason I see why they haven't sold the team completely.
Come on, bro, really? Lol. Wow that a fair bit of hyperbole mate. Old mates' idea makes up 1 single more pit-stop than currently proposed. Most teams are within a single second of each other from best to worst(except Kick Sauber) so I dunno what the hell your on about or on. 🚬
strategy will be more at play, I agree. But I'm not sure if it'd be so bad that it'd be the only thing that matters. There are a lot of tracks that F1 goes to that are two stoppers, it doesn't make it any less interesting.
Just toss out some of those restrictions like the age thing. The only reason why that rule was put in was because of Verstappen. Now, with hindsight, we can clearly see that a 17yo Verstappen was fine. It was a big deal at the time because “he’s just a child” but we’ve all got over it. Whether Kimi A. is ready for F1 or not? We don’t know. He may not be, but if they’re willing to bend the rules for him then what’s the point? Make a rule because of a kid. Bend the rule because of a kid. It’s so dumb 😅
