Fernando Alonso started his Formula 1 career at the Australian Grand Prix on March 4th, 2001. This season was his worst season, not scoring a single point and finishing 23rd in the championship. He joined Renault for the 2003 season and scored his first pole positions at the second race of the season in Malaysia, this was also his first F1 podium. His first win came later in the season at the Hungaroring on the 24th of August.
Alonso won the World Drivers Championship in 2005 and 2006, he finished as a runner-up in 2010, 2012, and 2013. Fernando has currently driven for 6 different constructors, which are Renault (105gp), Ferrari (96gp), McLaren (94gp), Alpine (44gp), Minardi (17gp), and Aston Martin (3gp).
Alonso has a total of 32 wins, 22 pole positions, 23 fastest laps, 101 podiums, 2016 points, and 359 Grand Prix starts. (at the time of uploading the video)
