The KX250 shifter kart is slowly coming together and today we install simple yet effective F1 inspired paddle shifters. These can be easily made for under 20 dollars from parts at the local hardware store. I also mention some upcoming news towards the end so stay tuned!

Thank you for your support! If there are any problems with the system on the test drive, I will not be afraid to redo it! But so far it is a great foundation for performance and will make it that much faster on the track and dragstrip! This build is becoming the staple of my channel so it is important I take my time and don't rush. Next part will be soon..

Your doing a great job. I have driven both type of paddle shift some where the pedals are on the wheel and some where the paddles stay in place and the type where the paddles stay in place are 10 times better because you never have to look down or double guess yourself. If you put 2 tags for the cables on steering support bar and a of little bits tube to the centre of your shift mechanism to keep it in place you will have less wear and tear on your cables and your selector fingers in the gear box will last longer. 2 stroke can produce false neutral especially with worn selectors

I already got the clutch material for the bike motor and torture tested them on a stock engine and they are holding up great.
