Loving this. That headlight switch is excellent and the red oxide paint looks like it's original paint that's less sun faded from being inside the door. It really does look like this could have been factory.
Get yourself a 3D printer it would be very helpful in situations like this. But on the other hand I understand how it feels too physically mold in shape the material with your own hands and the joy that it can bring so it's just an option both have their place.
You can dye the carpet easy. Take it back out spray it with the RATTLE CAN vinyl and fabric spray. You should be able to get it at the parts store. Once it's dry clean it again. I use tuff stuff. Every time I've done it I thought it looked good. Enjoying your build. You hustling!!
