Been doubting the F2 after seeing them play against the young Farm Fresh team, but they proved me wrong and aced this game. Cignal’s win over the Petro Gazz Angels was frightening. They played so well that F2’s credibility to win was put into question. However, the rookies proved that they indeed deserve their spots in the pro. The addition of Alba’s maturity in setting, Jolina’s iconic first ball reception, and Jov’s FEU’s mantra of being brave in this game paved a way for F2 to grab their second W. Also, KKD continues to carve her name in the pro as she leads her team. What a great show coming from her. Ivy’s “hilaw pa pero nakakamatay na performance” is also a key factor for them to secure this game against Cignal. It would also be unfair to not mention Macandili-Cantindig’s superb floor defense. She’s indeed not getting old for F2. She remains to be vital and maintains her title of being one of the best liberos in the league. WHAT A GAME F2. CAN’T WAIT FOR YOU TO GROW AND IMPROVE MORE. We also have to commend the two middles of F2, excellent performance but their plays need to improve and be more lethal as others are already almost perfecting the zero tempo plays. 😅
Grabe tumanda ako ng ilang taon while watching this game grabe ang stress hahaha but congrats to F2! Beating a veteran team like Cignal while playing with 3 rookies (2 of which are starters) proves the doubters wrong! Still a lot of room to improve so im excited to watch this team grow! Edit: RAD is 35 and playing like she's 10 years younger. Ibang klase!

I remember nirerecruit pa siya non ng Taiwan as import. Sana ma-regain niya ung form niya non. Mamaw sa blockings to at ung almost zero tempo quicks niya pati super tulis na mga serves

I've always believed that Majoy Baron is a vital cog of the F2 machine. Putting Ivy Lacsina to the OH position and make Majoy start again in the MB position was a brilliant move. Ivy in time can be the best Outside Hitter of the league. And the ever reliable Majoy, in my book the best Middle Blocker there is. Best wishes for F2😊.

One of the best and intense matches so far. The exchange of rallies and defense of both teams are astonishing! This is how a professional volleyball league should be played! Great game! The second set was the best nail biter set of all PVL matches I've watched so far. I appreciate both sides. Macandili was amazing at defending attacks. KKD is so effective with a versatile variety of attacks. Speaking of versatile, I credit coach Reg for converting Ivy Lacsina into an OH - she is contributing more than as MB last Filipino conference. Baron and Abby Marano are the excellent MBs - delivering crucial conversions. Rookies Fernandez, Jolina, and Alba played like pro's. Coach Reg did a great job of shuffling them with Galang and Fajardo. I want to see how Pablo fits in these new configurations. On the other side Doria was a dark horse with her quiet but effectively solid blocks. She did have crucial slips with the net but should be given more quick sets like Meneses who was amazing on the 13th & 16th point of the 2nd set. Ria, despite her temper, has improved her attitude so I don't understand the yellow card. Rachel Daquiz... is FIERCE. Never halfhearted, I now know why she is captain. She could be deadlier with a little unexpected drop ball once in a while. Molina took some time to warm up but did in the 2nd set onwards. Sadly, Sy and Gonzaga never did. If Coach Shaq subbed her & her seriously frustrated body language, Cignal might have won Set 2. We'll never know. But Gonzaga will bounce back from this. Cayuna may also need a sub from time to time - it is tiring to be a defending, attacking setter. I now want to see more games of Cignal. Awesome PVL!

UAAP SEASON 81 WHEN LACSINA IS OUTSIDE HITTER IN THE FIRST ROUND AND DORIA IS THE MB WERE PLAYING TOGETHER. NOW THEIR ARE AGAINST EACH OTHER. THEN THAT'S JOLINA'S ROOKIE YEAR BUT WAS SPOILED BY UST WITH WHAT COULD'VE BEEN HER FIRST EVER UAAP FINALS APPEARANCE. NOW THE TIME FLIES SO FAST HERE SHE IS IN THE PRO.
