hey bro i recommend getting a bootmod3 stage 1 tune. It's not too expensive and it made my burbles and pops loud and last long. All i have done is muffler delete and the stage 1 and the sound and power makes it feel like a completely different car.
Funny you mention that, after this video was made I got a catless downpipe and a bootmod3 tune. I have a new "sound clips" video if you want to give it a watch :)
Hey bro nice. Just a quick question when you cut it like that it obviously disconnected the OEM valves near the muffler tips. Did that cause any issue?
Can you please do a review of how much drone it has on the highway? Seriously considering doing this to my GC. Also, the fog light comes on when you turn to light the way. I thought mine was broken and almost took it in to be looked at until I did some research.
HAHA wow I had no idea thats what the fog light was doing. As far as drone goes it isnt bad at all and it it doesnt bother me. I will say that certain rpms drone a lot more than others but nothing bad in my opinion
i had a muffler delete done a few months ago and I can testify that there is absolutely no drone on the highway. However, the cabin noise from the engine is pretty high around 2K rpm (only when you're cruising at 70mph and above). oh and the burbles sound amazing
I did a muffler delete on mine and it drones like crazy in comfort and even more in eco. Sport and sport+ sounds great rollin thru gears. Eco gets you constant pops and bangs every time you let off. I ride in sport because it’s more quiet under regular driving conditions
@@itsJorgeMancilla thanks for the reply. I'm getting a 2013 428i in a couple of weeks. I want to have the bov sound and muffler delete just like I had when I had my e92.. With the muffler delete is it simple or is there a valve sensor and coding that needs to be done? Thanks once again I'll update you once I get the car 😃
@@itsJorgeMancilla I just got my 428i 14' last week! It does the bov sound on sport and sport plus modes. I'm happy its a very quick car for what it is. Also, did you just do the muffler delete? What would you recommend the resonator delete only or muffler only or both what are the differences? Previously I had a e92 328i with a muffler delete and it was good enough especially with the moderate pops and bangs/bubbles. Thanks 👍 🙂
