The Lockheed F-35A Lightning IIs seen in this video belong to the US Air Force's 48th Fighter Wing permanently based at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, England, UK. They're intended as multi-role all-weather stealth aircraft designed for a wide range of combat roles such as air-superiority and striking ground targets, as well as reconnaissance and electronic warfare. The F-35A variant is not capable of vertical take off, unlike the F-35Bs based at nearby RAF Marham in Norfolk.
