I super like the first ep. I can feel the tension, the hate, and anger, in the characters. Also, the scene of Gorya with family (shoes) made me cry. Being an F4 fan (since the Taiwanese version; and yes, I've watched the Japanese and Chinese mainland version), the F4 Thailand version is awesome! This was a great ep. 1!

16 episodes in this season! Thyme does have a big redemption story and the guys will grow on you. Gorya really brings out the best in them.. eventually. I also can't wait for you to meet Thyme's older sister!

I have seen a lot versions of F4, my first impression of this one is that I like the colors visually, like the cinematography. The family dynamic is so cute and what Thyme said about anonymous bullying wow, there is a sprinkle of truth.

This series has so many version and I watch them all even the animie, if I'm not mistaken the korean version is the one of the most successful kdrama , it's this show(f4) that the kdram been all known in the world. But the very first version is the taiwan, and the japan has its movie and a proper ending I mean they get meried ,

the taiwanese version was so popular here in asia even before i was born that's why im able to watch all the versions of different countries lmao but even though i already know where the story eill go, their acting skills (especially the girl who plays gorya) were superb! im very ready for the next ep

@@waeeeezeeeee That scene you are talking about was violent & disrespectful, but that isn't school violence(as it wasn't on school grounds). Most of the stuff that happened in Meteor Garden 2018 was petty pranks & humiliation out of immaturity. The most violent act between the two Meter Garden 2018 leads was on the school roof when she nearly got punched.

have watched all versions and the chinese one was the less violence out of all tbh, they couldn't even show too much wealthiness in that version (F4 boys even shown to actually study, in the class with other kids. no other versions did this)

I like the mood of this intense and seriously 'cos bully is not a funny thing. It should be serious and many people who watch this series can realize it now. Im not okay if the director present this in a comedy way. The director and the crew did their homework pretty well 👍 I love the first episode so far Ps i love your reaction. The story of "Boys Over Flower" or Hana Yori Dango is popular all over Asia. I remember watching the first version (Taiwanese) when I was 6 years old (2001) hahaha. Anyways, I already know the story because Ive seen all the versions of this story but I would love to see how Thailand tackled this. I think this is the first Southeast Asian adaptation, and as someone from SEA, Id love to see how they adapted it based on their culture (because personally, we cant really relate that much in east asian culture/adaptation). And I think we could relate more to the Thai version. Anyways, cant wait to see how the series progress.

Thank you for your reaction , Sir!! Love to watch it with your mum. I have watched korean and thaiwanese versions before. But this version seems more realistic and believable. Though I enjoyed watching the Korean version, it doesn't seem realistic. It is just like watching a fantasy. But, F4 thailand depict the characters in a very raw version, which I love. And I like how they addressed the red card thing and bullying. It can't be seen in any other version. Let's see how the future episodes are going to be.

I'm glad to see you and your mom's reaction on this series. It looks promising. It gives me the vibe of the original Taiwanese version but at the same time it gives me a new vibe in a Thai setting. By the way, The Taiwanese version (1st version) is best for me but this Thai version is becoming one of the best version for me.

You better watch the other versions.. since the story changes a bit thru different times and culture as well. Highly recommend watching the TAIWANESE (Meteor Garden - the OG) and KOREAN (Boys Over Flowers) versions. This story is a global phenomenon that's why there are diff versions.

I watched this episode when it first aired. I love it so far. I like the correlation and differences from the previous versions so far;- which I recommend you watch if you haven't already when you can find time to. The actress playing Gorya is on point as well as Bright and the others.

I've only watched the Chinese version (hated tbh) but I did appreciated that Ren's character (Lei's character in the Chinese version) is in the autism spectrum and I've heard rumurs that the Thai version will dive into it more than the other ones. I don't know how they are goin to do in 16 eps what the Chinese version couldn't in 49, but I do hope they do it better

I have watched all the versions, and the first F4 cards we were introduced to, they were not on the scene to bully the victims. I hate them more for being on the scene. The other versions they were never on the scene of the bullying, they only stay in their private room and watch or get feedbacks from the ones who do their deeds. Not that it justifies their character but I prefer them not being there than be there, even have seat, throw punches, damn that water is dirty. The Japanese Hana Yori Dabgo is my fave. I am more excited about Ren the SML; just like in the other versions (I liked the SML)but still hoped the ML gets the girl. And I am happy he left like always. Oh I wanted to watch after it airs in April but your reaction kept popping up.

Javi, we all know you don't like spoilers, so I will just share this. I have seen the original Japanese version, the Korean version and the Chinese version of F4, and the bullying is quite extensive. The Korean version in my opinion bordered on criminal verbal and physical abuse. When it was filmed years ago, no one in the film industry considered bulllying a violent act. So, hold on because this is going to be a bumpy ride, if Thailand's version copies all the previous ones.

So the boys over flowers that I saw was the 2009 one, and it's very similar to this one, after a couple of episodes I got bored and stop watching, the girl that played it was little to animated, she reminded me of this Mexican show called LA India Maria, cuz she was animated like her 😂, I might continue watching this one cuz the girl is not so extra

I'm gonna force myself to watch this because it's you and BrightWin but I must say I really can not stand the premise of the plot of this drama. I despised Boys over Flowers, it made me hate all the characters. I just about manage to get through Meteor Garden the Chinese version but I must say the Thai version is looking the best so far.

F4 is actually a really toxic show. Times have changed but it was first released like two decades ago and the toxicity was very romanticized. As a young girl, I loved it, but now there are many things about that do not sit right with me. But I would still watch it just for nostalgia sake.

I doubt that GMMTV deviated from the original story at all (Japanese storyline). And many people are gonna hate me for saying this, but I still feel like Bright only did the BL's he did because he was promised this drama when he signed to GMMTV...and he wants to be the Thai version of Lee Min Ho (look him up)...okay moving on (nope I don't hate Bright...just something about him). And Win is just Tine playing straight...no vocal difference...see how soft he sounded describing who flawed they all are... immediately, I was like Tine is that yo ass...Green come get Tine 😂🤣😂🤣 and take him back to Still 2gether. But the only way GMMTV could possibly make this different, is for her not to pick the obvious asshole to like, but we know the story doesn't go that way. Spoiler...I'm not gonna do it.... I'll let you enjoy it...🤣

Actually Bright said before why he accept 2gether because he like Sarawat character and feel he kinda same with Wat irl so it's doesn't involve with F4 at first. And to correct you they got 2gether roles first and did shooting and all. Bright said in his interview which he got Thyme role on on Feb 2020 which before 2gther airing simply because gmm wanna make him big over F4 since Thai local been requesting Bright to play Dao Ming Si Thai ver. Honestly if bright didn't popular through 2gether, F4 eventually will make him. Its just i think 2gther really lucky to be viral lol

Well, let me give you only facts. 1. 2gether was planned and fixed the two leads in 2019 February. Win was introduced to Bright in GMMTV outing. 2. 2gether started filming before 2019 October a bit for a rough pilot promotion clip in order to release in GMM New Next 2020, the traditional event of GMM to announce their business direction with new entertaining dramas and contents. 3. After Official announcement in October, they started filming 3-4 months. 4. 2gether first officially aired 21 February 2020. 5. Still together aired 14 August 2020. 6. The F4 Project was announced to press conference (GMMTV 2021 The new decade begins) on 3rd December 2020. 7. Bright won the contest “GMM25 New Face 2018” and got signed (or you said promised) with GMMTV in March 2018. At that time, GMM has not planned the project F4 yet. 8. 2018 Bright at that time was mainly doing a study job as a uni student and did TV show just as his part time job. He appeared in some series as an extra just for short scenes or one or half episode. 9. 2019 he got a position as a co-MC in “To Leaw”, the TV show for traveling”, and he got more jobs through audition for CM jobs, Model jobs. Since the job in the entertainment world got busier, he dropped a uni one year to try to do full-time artist because he thought it might be a stable job to run living. He fully jumped to the entertainment work seriously in late 2018. He got 2gether as a main lead in 2019, and his aura has shone from then. Means that this F4 project was put on him because his success from 2gether, not because he promised as whatever you mentioned.

@@dangie7735 the F4 cast committed backroom in Feb 2020 before the 2gether being aired, but announced in December 2020. However, he got Thyme after already starting shooting BL. He did not sign to shoot BL for F4 because BL was talked since Feb 2019 and announced in September 2019.

This ver is similar to japanese HANA YORI DANGO one and im really impressed by it. the Thyme (leader of F4) character got pressured and took care of in his mothers way which led him to be this but he isnt truly like that he is just a kid with a scars and loneliness in him u will find out soon dont worry its normal for F4 series to have the lead to be hated and the 2nd lead to be loved but u will find out more just dont want to spoil.

Have watched 3 version of this adaptions. The originality coming from Hana Yori Dango (Japanese manga) and its got huge fame through Meteor Garden Taiwan (2001). This version are the starting point that make Asian keep making remakes. Even this F4 boys from this version make a legit boyband and did many concert through Asian countries. That's how big it is. Another turning point is Boy Over Flower (Korean,2009) which creating kdrama fever. I'm sure many kdrama fans start from this drama. Honestly Korean ver definitely the most toxic one. I wonder how I went through watching it, might be I'm too young that time because I really couldn't re-watch now :/ but it's still one of legendary Korean drama. Another popular remake is Japanese version. It's got popular also and it's one of my favorite adaptation among all because they stick with original manga plots and it's less toxic than others. The chemistry definitely the best than other version. Last but not least, MG2018 which i love it also but the number of ep terrifying me but it's could be advantage as we could see very good and more detailed of F4 boys character development. This Thai version honestly soo good. I've big expectations actually and it's honestly reach mine. Hope it's keep good like this. Actually I hope you watch 'F4Thailand begin' ( on gmm channel) as maybe you could know more in details how they create F4 and each characters explanation. Waiting for your next ep reaction of F4Thai 🤞
