Assion Ayikutu well I have a few ways of avoiding rock chips: never tailgate, stay away from following big trucks, trakktape on track days and that’s it. Of course I’ll get rock chips but in three years I’d rather pay $1000 to fix my chips vs $2500 now to wrap the car. And honestly I do like the feel of a fresh paint under my palm haha ....I’m weird I know

I hadn’t seen the side skirts at this point and I also watched the exhaust fit. Overall look is awesome with car in the best colour and sounds incredible. I have a 2018 55tfsi A7 but want a car that makes a noise!! ...in this colour. Great video’s.
Great video. Thank you for sharing! Did you put the splash guard back on? I didn't see that part in the video. In the OEM part installation instruction, it asks to trim the splash guard before putting it back on. Probably don't need to do that I am thinking for non-OEM.
Paxton Patiwan thanks for watching! I ended up not reusing the splash guards. I decided that they’re not needed especially with he bottom coverage the lip provides. Also it would make it much harder to install the kit.
Thank you sir! I shot Jay G a message about the parts. I am still debating between the Performance style or 3D style front lip. With 3D style, it won't fit with Splitters stalled though.
Looks really nice. I am picking up my SSII on Wednesday, bought a GTS style front lip that was not pre drilled and I am so scare to drill. Since I will be wrapping some areas of the front and rear of the car in black, I will just have them install it at the same time. Knowing myself I Fck something up if I tried it.

I know this has been awhile, but did you use self tapping screws? Did you use 3M tape? I don't think you used 3M otherwise you would of said so. I have a carbon fiber lip and it came with screws, not self tapping. There are about 12 screw holes in the lip, do you think I need to use 3M tape in addition to all of those screws?

Hey. I just received a similar replica lip today. I just wanted to know how many screws did you use? 2 in the middle 1 on each side to existing bumper holes? Did you screw anything from the lip to the splitter area? And did you use 3m tape in the gaps? Thanks

I know its been a while. But i recently installed same lip but in matte. For some reason on one side the edge seems off. Maybe bad fitment ? You mention u trimmed the lip ? What exactly did u trim ? Thanks
How did you go about trimming the splash guards? The lip that I got doesn’t fit with the splash guards on with just the rubber trimmed. I saw a diy that showed that the one lip comes with a stencil that you follow to trim the plastic as well. What did you do?
won il kim thanks! You could jack up one side and stick something under the wheel. Then come up to the other side and to the same. Or jack up the car on one side and put the stand under the control arm. Then do the same on the other side. Should be fairly easy. I used to do it all the time with my other car. Let me know how you make out!
PaulSvk84 Happy to hear that! Honestly just make sure the lip is aligned and start from there. If I were to do it again I would attach the middle first making sure it’s centered and then I would do the outside. Also when you’re drilling the holes at the bottom for the center of the lip make sure it’s not too much towards the front. Otherwise it might stick out and you might be able to see the screw. Other than that it’s an easy install if you get stuck just let me know.

I love Cyba tips. Google them. I think they come from Vietnam but they’re super high quality and fit well. I have them on now - I’ll have a video on them next week
