Hi Cap, is there a way to use the targeting pod to designate seperate Co-Ordinates for each bomb and then ripple all 4-8 JDAMS. Have watched other videos that do this with a TDC Depress then press Step over Target 1 press Step Target 2 Step Target 3 Target 4 press Undesingate???. But as soon as you hit undesignate it just resets all coordinates.
Thanks Cap. just finished a JDAM night attack on an ammo depot with your video in the background, bombs went right on target with set coordinates. sweet. even manged to land on the carrier with your tacan landing tutorial even though the carrier CRS didn't show up. keep it coming, really helpful.
07:27 - UPDATE for DCS... As of Feb 2024. Press Left ALT + Left Mouse Button on the F10 map, and you get a set of 'copyable' co-ordinates that stay on screen when you leave the F10 map... Making co-ordinate clicking much much easier. Love you CAP. Love you GR. Love you Stoneburners server. Love you GR members for all the help and learning (especially GR Bendy, and GR SuperMilo)
I NEVER DO CAPS BUT CAP... NEVER SPEED UP THE VIEW OF S CERY HIGH ALTITUDE LONG SLOW BOMB DROP OR MISSILE FIRE, its what and many of us are looking speciafically for. Thanks GR’s
I'm loving your videos guys they're a great way to learn how to fly by you're easy way you guys and Redkite are the best educators in DCS. Thanks again.
Hi Cap. I just want to say thank you for your videos. I have finally started doing my flight sims again and DCS isso much fun but the trainjng missions can be a bit sketchy and sometime not enough information. I just want to say thank you for all of these videos. I have learned more from your channel than any of the tutorials in-game. It would be nice to fly with you sometime when im up to speed. Take care
Most groups will help you out as a beginner, including mine. Joining as an official pilot for a group usually waits until you're semi-competent. Checkout www.throughtheinferno.com We have 2 multiplayer servers, soon to be 3, all with SRS. Always populated. And everyone on the discord is more than happy to help.
On a more realistic server where you can’t see targets on the map is there a good way to get the precise coordinates to attack targets like tanks or would you only be able to attack targets like buildings and runways that can be seen on the map if you want to be precise?
im a little late here, but a lot of servers will have jtac spots on targets, that you can get from the comms menu, these usually read out coords, elevation, and target type
Hi GR. So I liked the explanation but what about getting the coords or the waypoint when you dont have any information of where the target is? How can you find where the targets are? I know with the litening pod you can but what about IFR
well thanks a lot, your tutorial videos are so much helpful going trough everything quite nicely and showing us the default button mappings makes for an easy learn, but i have one question.. how do you respawn a plane without resetting the whole thing. like i know that shift-R but it also respawn previously downed enemies and such... but you reloaded a plane with your first 4 targets still destroyed. i'd like to know how you did that
