This was such a good time to be a teenager. These dudes were so fun to watch and represented us as a community. I still remeber watching the final in my bedroom on a little rabbit eared Sears TV. Cried like a baby when they lost that second championship. I know I wasn’t the only one. The Arkansas Elite 8 loss the next year was sad to.

The black socks, the long shorts, the swagger … these guys will always be my favorite squad of all time. FAB 5

March Madness takes me back to this time & this team & they're unbelievable run. 5 f'ing freshman starting & dominating. That's why I love sports.

I still wear black socks and believe it or not, I had the Black Nike Air Force Max almost 2 weeks before Michigan Fab 5 all wore them. Everyone followed Michigan and would comment on my black shoes/socks. I got the retro pair in my collection now in 2 colors
