THIS is what people ARE looking for!!! keep updating this with more plugin supports. Fabfilter is probably the most popular ones and this will benefit selling this gear even more!
Softube is Seriously "Rocking the Industry" with this Technology! What a presentation, no company is doing this, and it's what we need! Thank you Softube for listening to us and giving us these innovative tools. . . . Now let me go mix something.
Hi Daniel! We're very glad to hear you're enjoying Console 1 :) Could you please check my latest reply in support ticket #127873, by the way? Thanks for your support, and happy music-making! Best regards, David at Softube
so awesome! I am sure y'all thought about it, but one day adding a way to engage the dynamics in pro q3 would be sooo awesome. thanks so much for adding this! incredible stuff.
@softube Hey guys, on Reaper, FabFilter plugins are showing up fine in c1 plugin software, but not in the hardware. How can I fix this? Note that UAD and UADx is showing up fine in both.
Game changer after game changer from Softube recently. Can't wait to incorporate Saturn into my C1 strips. The simplified UI for Saturn will actually see it get more use here!
Man, it'd be nice to be able to pull up the Pro Q3 UI. Theres some pretty key components in there that don't seem to be available (like dynamic eq and being able to see resonance buildups)
Is it currently possible to open the full original GUI of Pro Q 3 after the instance has been loaded into console? Let's say I want to look at the spectrogram or activate a feature that the console software/hardware can't control for example.
Can softube console 1 mkiii have fabfilter q3 loaded and hear the harsh frequencies to tame like in the plugin alone when you click on the headphone icon to hear only that frequency?
Hi thanks for this super update well done top.Console is so much better'Question; Can I also access the presets of tabfilter via Console? And when will come the New Fader Again I love Softube.
Hey! The FabFilter/UADx presets aren't included, so you'd need to make your own presets using Softube's Preset Collection. As for the new Fader, there's no official release date yet, but it will be released sometime in the fall of 2024 :) You can sign up at the following link to get exclusive early access to Console 1 Fader Mk III when it’s available: www.softube.com/early-access-console-1-fader-mk-iii Best regards, David at Softube
If you assign a plugin to a section but bypass/disable it, will the plugin still consume resources or will it be 'offline' like disabling fx/tracks in the DAW?
Most Fabfilter plugins have oversampling, is it possible to use it in console 1, at least I don't see it in the modifiable parameters? I can't imagine using Saturn or Pro-C 2 without oversampling!
There is an option for some Fab Filter plugins I don't own that I could load up in Console 1. Does that mean I own all Fab Filter plugins within Console 1 now?
Hey! No, you'll only have access to the FabFilter (or UAD, or Softube) plug-ins you own - I might have misunderstood something, but it was my understanding that you'd only see the Fab Filter plug-ins you actually own in the list. If you still see 'em, could you contact us at support@softube.com and I'll investigate? Thanks, David at Softube
Hey! Some users have reported that their UADx or Fabfilter plug-ins aren’t showing up in Console 1 (www.softube.com/support/known-issues/console1-third-party-plugins). Please try this: - Quit the On-Screen Display from the systems tray/menu bar. Re-start Softube Central and reinstall the Console 1 software to the latest version (2.5.82). - Also, make sure to download and install VST3 versions of UADx and Fabfilter. Other formats (AU/VST2.4./AAX) will not work. If none of the above helps, please contact us at www.softube.com/contact-us/technical-support and our support team will help you :) Best regards, David at Softube
Hey! Console 1 will load the UADx and FabFilter plug-ins in the Console 1 On-Screen Display (i.e., you'll not be seeing the regular plug-in GUI) and the main idea with this is to put the emphasis on sound and workflow, rather than pulling up a GUI. We hope that this can make the workflow faster and gets you focus on the sonics of what you are adjusting, rather than being distracted by the look of the knob, wood side, or something else that is cosmetic on a GUI :) Best regards, David at Softube
Right but a lot of people like console 1 work flow because you can use your ears and not your eyes. I'm really happy because I'll be able to do that smoothly with my favorite alla round EQ. I can still use my mouse after for dynamic Eq or extra bands. Essential is here, thanks Softube!
