It is always a good day when there is a new Adventure Game Geek episode

A new adventure game getting the AGG treatment, _and_ it's Fable, _AND_ there are cameos from the other members of the Adventure Game Hotspot Super-Team™? Aw yeah! I love it when you cover stuff that's overlooked or may be hard to personally play through for any number of game design that's lacking a bit, but has a great look and interesting tone. This is one of those storybook-ish fantasy aesthetics that I just love seeing in old school adventure game pixel art.

So glad you ended up covering Fable! I love the madness of it.

This sound familiar.

I like original ending more: it's 3D, which makes contrast to the rest of the game, also I'd rather prefer a bitter truth than a sweet lie.

I've been trying to get this game to run for about a decade and a half.

Quickthorpe wants to end it all by drowning, yet can't swim. That is such a groanworthy dad joke that now I pretty much *have to* play this to see if it can get any worse. Though I think I'll go for the US version, as I don't like triple chocolate in my maggot cake. Wait... did I just say that? Are you sure the hypnosis has worn off?

Hmm, this wasn't the Fable game I was thinking of that had swords, bows, and pistols. This is an example of the golden age of games written by dirty minded male nerds left to their own devices.
