Blades Vortex is just straight up the best and most cathartic. It multiplies the blades damage and it's just so much fun to see those spectral knives converge on their targets
Been years since I played, but I remember loving any of the Blades combos. Just looked so cool visually. Cheers, and happy to see people still watching this vid and playing the game!
Sweeeeeeeeeet!!!!!! I LOVED the Spell Combination system in Magicka and just knew that it was going to have its future. Months later. , A true mage in 3D Action RPG !!!! Best moment ever.
My favorite is the Vortex blades combo, because when you use it untargeted (create the wind around yourself) anything sucked up has several blades spawn around it. At full power this means that you can summon like 8-10 blades for each enemy that gets sucked up and you can suck up 3-6 ie 60 summoned blades at a time.
Shock and vortex is a favourite of mine because the vortex swings them around while lightning shocks them and keeps them on the ground so you can just spam the AoE and nothing can touch you.
Hey, a thirteen year old here. Grew up on PS3 and 360 games but I just got a 360 and man I completed this in 10 hours I was addicted! I didn't think it was bad but i havent played 1 or 2 anyways have a blessed day jesus loves you.
@@Fluffywusky vortex + blades if you use it as aoe picks up all enemies and stabs each one with the full amount of blades. And holds them long enough to recharge it to max and cast again. Repeatedly.
Vortex with lightning or blades for cc but really vortex with anything good or makes it real easy. But if like one other guy mentioned and you're a combination style player mixing will, melee and range attacks I like the flame with lightning. It's my go to to keep things more interesting and it has a very fast quick range style bolt. But that's my opinion. Funny people talking about such an old game
The first Fable had my fav Magic cause the selection was wider, but this is close behind simply cause of the Spell Weaving. Fable 2’s Magic was…. Well it was there I guess.
it seems they werent very creative with the spells when i figured out you could weave spells i thought that you could have a tornado with blades spinning around in it
wat happened to "chaos, summon and time controle?" ive seen some people use them in gameplays, but you did not, is it not real magic anymore? (game is still not out here -_-' only at the end of the year )
WTF??? your vortex+blades is different from mine! with me the vortex comes and everybody who gets trown in the air gets blades above them and impaled in mid air! but you have blades that hit and course a vortex! ???? how did that happen? does the spell change if you mix them in a different order?????
can someone tell how your appreance changes when your magic aura is full , cause all I see are blue things on my close when I use my powers , no blue marks on my body like fable 1 and 2 ?
i had part of this game i loved it, it was great and i never finished i forgot why but i was far as hell and i just got part3 and its awesome i love the new powers even though i don't got them just yet because i just started playing the game and the story mode its good too(:
Is anyone else's game glitched for archmage achievement? I've literally cast each spell combo making sure even to put the words in the same order (Fire + Ice, etc.), but still my game only gives me 14/15 combos. I've 4 saved games with all the same problem...
From what I can tell, Fireball by itself is the most powerful. Kills things in 2 shots Fireball- Full damage is dealt instantly. Shoot 2 fireballs and a wolf dies on the spot Fireball+Vortex - sucks, damage is done slowly, have the time to shoot it 10 times before a wolf dies Fireball+Ice again, sucks damage is done mostly by the falling ice, and that takes forever Fireball+Shock - damage is caused by the shock affect, which takes forever
I agree. However, I went with a "mage princess" kinda build for my Hero, and fire by itself isn't as cinematic as these other combinations. Sincerely, someone from almost a decade in the future
I tried Force, but it didn't knock enemies down or back. Very disappointed. My favorite is Shock + Fireball. Stunning plus damage overtime = WIN. I was so excited for Ice, but it takes too long for enemies to die to it. Haven't used Vortex because Shock + Fireball kills everything (Except Sentinels) so easy. It seems Sentinels are easiest to kill with Blades.
@Subywoby Your tattoo will shine blue or red depends on morality. If you have zero or only one magic level, then your tattoo will be black unless you dye it.
@themoderngamervideos yeah duh i knew that, i mean does it actualy "do" somthing when you get it? more power in your spells? faster charge? new spells? or is it just a usseless title
personal favorite spell combination was for a long time vortex+ice and in case they don't die in the deadly storm use your gun while they spin around you =) but now i use the destructive power of fire & lightning Q: Does Force + Ice pushes your enemies away from the ice rain? o.O pls answer me. Thx for the vid btw.
@jkira69 when ur in the weapon room of your "inventory" (on x-box 360) hit the left and right trigger... the controls should pop up when standing near the gauntlets... makes them switch to the next bank... also works with tattoos n clothes
@DemonXY2J ALL the Fable games are adventure games. It's not an RPG at all. And yes you had more spells in fable 1, but they got more powerful based on experience, so swords and bows were always at a higher level. They changed it to gauntlets in fable 3 because it is much easier to use. (although i must admit, i miss assassin rush)
@FrenzyProductionz when u continue the game in road to rule youll find it i think it cost about from 40 to 80 i dont really check the prices hope that answered ur question
The music in this video had me standing up in my room acting like I was going nuts on a les paul guitar. ha ha. I love that song by the way and great video.
Yeah, I found out that doing a flourish will knock them down and let you One hit kill them, so that's useful, but cheap I just spammed fireballs and did fine.
Hay un cofre en el camino al reinado que es para eso, después debes de tener obviamente 2 guantes diferentes y sólo te equipas los 2 juntos en el santuario.
It's just whenever I played Fable 2 I never really felt the need to do anything beyond spamming magic since guns only pick off enemies one at a time and half your attacks with a sword are invalid (regular attacks keep getting blocked, but charged attacks don't). I suppose half of my judgement was judging the book by it's cover, since the fact you can combine spells to make them even better and just cast them endlessly seems pretty OP to me... :P
