Being the youngest, I always watched my brother play video games. It was a true blessing watching him play games like this. We would come home from school and we would pick up where we left off. I remember him accessing this demon room and in my heart I was encapsulated by this ambience and melody. I didn't tell him because I didn't know how. But I think he did too, because he stood in this area for longer than normal. It was an invisible understanding we had with eachother that was louder than words. I will never forget that and the countless other games I watched him play
I could spend hours in a place like this.. when I used to play fable when I was young I always wanted to find places somewhere out in the world that resembled the enchanting aesthetic of the places in the game where stone buildings met natural environment
For 18 long years i play this legendary game, come to this place and chill. It feels like a... very special place, where you can be alone, be with inner self and with your thoughts or some peaceful and great memories from your childhood. Peace to you all my friends and may Avo guide you in your life.
THANK YOU 🙏🏼 I have been using this as a night light on and off since the original release. I couldn’t connect to Xbox Live tonight when my daughter (I got my kids into Fable 💗) wanted a night light and soft music…. And I knew RU-vid was worth a shot. But I didn’t imagine someone else ran to the library behind the demon door just to sit and relax before bed like I did for so many years. I’m about to cry lol I guess we all saw and heard the same perfection ✨💗✨Thank you again so much for posting this. It’s perfect 🙏🏼🙌🏼💗
Fable is such a good game, it's generic European fantasy but simultaneously manages to be fully unique in its design. I only wish they would've fleshed out the world more. We have places we never vist but hear of like Samarkand, and places we visit but who feel very small and confined like the desert continent Aurora, which in game felt more like desert district Aurora. The games, Fable II especially also had the flaw of feeling very empty upon completing the storyline. All friends and allies gone not to return and do more adventures with you, even your dog if you didn't choose to revive him. Rememberable characters like the retired guard Giles, Jeeves the butler, the creepy graveyard keeper, they all just vanish when their quests are done. Just a big vastness of lonliness to traverse which made the game almost depressing to continue for me. Had they fixed these aspects to make the game more dynamic, similar in design to Elder Scrolls games they would've been ten times better.
Dude I've been looking for something like this for a long time. I used to play this game a ton back in 2007 and loved going into the demon door rooms like this one and just chill for hours, daydreaming, writing little short stories, reading. I so wished as a kid to find a real place like this to steal myself away from the fast-paced world outside.
I just love this game so much. I don’t know many people who have played it but every single detail of this game has a special place in my heart and memories. I still remember how i discovered this game by my older cousin which was like a big brother, he lended me fable 2 as a joke to my 8 yo self thinking I’d hate it. But i actually fell in love with the story, characters and gameplay. And just by hearing the melody of the game makes my heart flutter and remember those longs afternoons playing this in my old Xbox, the times my parents would scold me for staying up late playing and the time i begged my dad to get me fable 3 for my birthday after watching gameplays and walkthroughs. Also, only a few soundtracks have captivated me the way this one did, every time i hear a similar melody or instrumental it reminds me of this game, which is truly a masterpiece
this stuff really makes me appreciate life. I cant believe how far we''ve come since the release and how much I have conquered within me. life is a fuckin trip. oh how I wish I could just stay in that moment of when I first discovered this game and all the other stuff that followed in this time period... why does time just become a blur, your attention on one minor thing for a while blends in with the bigger picture after you realize maybe this tiny step was really the biggest catalyst to everything and anything. like the world felt 2004 for the longest time, then it turned to 2013 for me, then it turned to 2016, then it turned to 2019 and then it turned to 2022. just all these chapters of my life...so may mistakes and so many good times. I just wish I could go back and hug myself... holy shit typing this out has me reflecting on how broken i feel inside. I hope we all overcome this longing, this nostalgia, because i want to hope for the future already
Hey, don't know where you are right now but I just wanted to send a hug from here. Life can be difficult and wonderful at the same time. And although we are essentially alone from the first day to the last, there is other people going through similar feelings about life, maybe on the other side of the planet. I'm here, I felt what you wrote, and I'm sending affection. God bless you, whoever you are.
Thank you for uploading this. I would come here and unequip my character's boots, then sit for hours reading real books. This place is deeply ingrained in my heart, and I lost access to the game.
@IGLivesInstagram Well, I'm VERY disabled and can't play these types of games any more BUT i can ask someone to help me get that far, at least. So you and @PythorSehn are 100% right. I'll do it.
If i recall the history behind the Music box version and this version from Fable 1 and 2 are quite tragic and sad, An accident during a holiday for one of the young devs, ended badly while he was surfing in the ocean, to pay hommage and respect the dev team had this music piece put into the game
I used to have my guy chill in there for a long time. Whats weird is there is a spot when you stand in the water where light makes your guy super shiny.
Fable is so special to me I remember playing it for the first time and again recently sucha lovely game I most def will play it AGAIN thoroughly I play games more thoroughly specially a great crafted open world one
I know this series didn’t land with everyone, and the first to the second really jarred some people, but fuck me if the three games of this series aren’t so near and dear to my heart. My wife got me the legendary set of Fable three with the cards and fake book for my birthday a few years ago and I was so enthralled. Beat them all again over the summer and it still hits hard… only shame is that I have no means of playing the DLC….someday I’ll be back Knothole Island…. I’ll be coming to sacrifice some poor sap to get my good boy back!
Fable's music is like the soundtrack of my childhood alongside a few other games of the era. So it's great to find stuff like this to vibe to. This track in particular has always been one of my favorites alongside Fresco Dome and the Guild Theme.
Did you guys ever take screenshots of places you were gone to into this game? And pics of your char with some awesome landscape or things like this. Like it matters, like you were gonna keep them and see them after time or like you were gonna show to someone. Just a need to save the feeling of the moment maybe or the moment itself...
@@bastouflette2552 what matters is our own experiences and feelings within the world. Personally crossing my fingers ultra tight that they manage to capture the magic and enchantment I felt with at least 1 and 2
@@aerial0427 I hope so ! Although I think that we loved those game because they were only a few at that time. A lot of novelty (gameplay, graphism, quest & morality) and also a now a part of nostalgia. I miss loosing myself in a good story game. Finger crossed !
I rmember as a child renting this from Blockbuster and returned it because I didnt like the first impression. 25 years later I look back in regret that I didnt give this game a chance. I feel like I missed out on a gem of a game. I use this ambience videos to relax in the early mornings
I’m was going through all the demon doors and man. It truly feels magical on the inside. When I was younger I’d just sit and listen to the music and sometimes fish. I viewed it as the hero’s place to study and rest. This also feels like a liminal space, all of them do.
This gives me an idea for a DnD game: the reading room from a legendary magical library which was lost when it burned was known to 'wander', and still exists somewhere deep in a forest...
Demon door interiors are not effected by time so it can be safely assumed a demon door like this would have it's books and such be unaffected by the rain
Thank you for the support! I have other work commitments so you may not hear from me as much as I would like (yet), but I shall most definitely continue on my journey, finding the best spots in Albion
Its alright too samey all the way through though, thought it was a playlist full of fable like music. On the chill. Never mind still added regardless..
Found it, it's called "Temple of Light" and it seems that there are no other songs in the same style on this soundtrack, apart from Fable 3's "Reaver Mansion". So, good choice by you here.
