hi! I hope you enjoy this fable video where I dive into the many questions surrounding the playground games reboot of fable! If you have any questions let me know!! #fable #fablereboot #xboxshowcase
@@EmperorDxD Have you played Fable 3? It had two villains King Logan and the Darkness and little annoying antagonistic Gnomes. That's what I'm talking about, but Fable 4 doesn't necessarily have to have Gnomes, something else.
I'm confident that the villain of this entry will be The Court, especially with what we saw the other day. But I think we'll need to end up chasing Scarlet Robe and in order to get to that.
If I had to put an educated guess, it's a mix of both @ 3:55 -- It's probably fresh, and new, but has numerous classic locations reappearing. I believe it's a reboot of the classic entry that probably will allow them room to expand beyond the first game. Considering that an entirely new studio inside of Playground Games was formed just for this, it's clear that they plan on sort of making a continuation of this entry, so if I had to guess, it's entirely a reboot based in the era of Fable 1, and that's more likely after the recent trailer.
4:18 Theresa was the narrator telling the character prologue & story since they narrative writers of Fable 2 & Fable 3 had as much imagination as they did a sense of morality. Truth be told, they butchered Theresa. They could have made her a seeress, and it could have worked so great -- if it wasn't hundreds to a thousand years "in the future" where she just happens to never age, never die, always be alive, and somehow exist beyond space and time. The problem with Theresa is that the writing for her was horrid, although the voice actor amazing. Her role as a character in 2 & 3 was as simple as a role as the Guild Master Narrating Fable 1, which is fine...it's just the "character" itself is a discrepancy. I hope that if they bring Theresa back, it's in the next entry, and it's specifically as a more adjacent role with plot threads and important queues added, potentially even as "your sister" still. Where if they "wanted to make her immortal", they explain that in story. Otherwise, it's just poor writing being disguised by a character.
My child hood friend introduced me to the game fable 2 on his xbox i love that you could choose to be hero or villain and if chose the villain route your character looked like a devil that was awesome. And im the one who asked about your thoughts on the new dragon age game like i get the first trailer how little bit cartoonish it looked but i love the gameplay trailer and the parts were he could switch between his swords and bow was awesome and how he was fighting looked sick and i think you can add magic skills too but i just hope the other classes are still in it i loved the class were you have giant sword/hammer/axe that was my favourite class
If I remember correctly Theresa story was finished with Fable: The Journey (the kinect game). I am willing to give Playground Games a chance even if lots of things seem to have changed. Lionhead studios last 2 fable games (Fable The Journey and Fable legends) were also really different in comparison to the original trilogy.
Idk about the sex choice you may have to be female which is eh, id like to choose but it's nbd but I would be VERRRRRY surprised if you couldn't, yk, customize stuff like hairstyle or clothing lol I don't even see how they wouldn't have that as options. It's possible they won't but then it will just be a totally different type of game from the other fables and even most RPGs
What are you even talking about is there a hero’s guild, the last trailer the two hero’s were in the guild the male hero even said welcome to the most exclusive club in Albion
I meant moreso in comparison to the first game where tons of hero's were around studying, I've only seen 3 maybe 4 hero's so far which is why I wondered the state of the guild.
This is a complete reboot evething about the other games throw it away this is new complete new story completely different era Some mechanics will return some wont that how reboots work
Its a complete reboot completely new lore no new lore Obviously but let say a retelling and adding new lore Obviously the hero guild The towns will be the same All that
@@TheDigitalSoul_ I’m aware. Hence in two separate sentences I said “I’m disappointed with the graphics” and then “I was hoping they’d maintain the art style”. I’d also say the two are linked as the graphics would be limited by the art style and I would argue “objectively” is a weird way to describe something that is subjective.
@@Rowandgs Fidelity isn’t subjective. The game’s texture quality and lighting all look high quality, no matter how you spin it. It’s not the graphics you’re disappointed with, it’s the art direction, which is subjective. I say this because I’ve seen a lot of people criticize the graphics of games as if it’s a fidelity issue, when in reality what they’re actually disliking is the art direction.
