Being scottish the gargoyles are probably one if my most favourite things about the whole fable series. The accent and the teuchter patter (the dialect they speak in) is so accurate. It souns like my neighbour 😆

I've always wondered... Can the "normal" citizens of Albion hear the Gargoyles? If they can why haven't they shot them? A LOT of them carry guns (Especially the residents of Bloodstone) and almost every Blacksmith sells guns. Or did it take a Hero to be able to destroy them? On Sabre's weapon being in the trove. Do we have any info on him other than what you said in the video? What if he created them? What if he was a Gargoyle? And finally what if the creator of the gargoyles was the Big Gargoyle in the trove? A) He was a Gargoyle, possibly the last of his kind due to a disease turning his kind into stone. And enchanted his friends/family/species that were turned into stone and spread them across the land in one final joke. B) A powerful will user was cursed into a Gargoyle and in their efforts to reverse the transformation (Creating other gargoyles for tests and whatnot) turned themselves into stone and the test subjects had just enough will energy in them to spread out across the land. I like A) more.
I did always wonder if he other citizens could hear them. The fact that Brian can hear the gnomes does suggest they can. Maybe they were all a little silly and didn't think to shoot them! Sadly no additional information on Sabre or his weapon and so I thought I would add the little bits in this video so it was covered in some capacity. I do think that the big Gargoyle could have been the big one. Sadly, none of my contacts really had a story of the creation of the gargoyles, and so, it falls to us, the player. I feel like A has more of a Fable feel! Thanks for the support my guy
@@Skyrionn Who were the 3 heroes that had statues at The Hero's Guild in the graveyard? Was Sabre one of them? Can't remember. Also I believe Brain can hear the Gnomes because he technically created them. He activated the Gargoyle which in turn activated the Gnomes?
I know at least a few citizens can hear the gargoyles because you can occasionally hear a male citizen say "one of those gargoyles insulted me the other day".

I'd see if you could talk to them and try and engage in a roast off. Imagine one of them shutting up because you burned him that bad instead of just shooting him!
They are one of my favourite parts of fable 2, I felt the gnomes in 3 crossed the line a bit comparatively. The gargoyles were tongue in cheek that I loved
The thing that I find curious about this is we destroy them all but it is revealed in 3 one survived so did we miss some or what also in 3 if you go the part of bowerstone market that led to their lair you get an interesting Easter egg
Oh man missed the last 2 fable lore vids. I think that the gargoyles used to be some sort of messaging system of the old kingdom. It explains why they're everywhere even in ancient ruins. I think it's also possible for them to travel through the use of will which would also mean why and how they're found in modern areas of the map. As for the big gargoyle in 3 I think that it might be a sort of reciever that a message could be transferred through and over time because they were like Demon Doors the grew board of doing nothing so they just started insulting people. Notice how they never insult you until you can aim with a gun. They were waiting for the right moment to piss the wrong person off
The first time I heard the gargoyles I thought it was the narrator or one of the NPCs again if it was the narrator I can't do anything so I started shooting the NPCs but the sound kept going so I had to look around just to find it found out it was a gargoyle decided right there and then they all have to die they started it they could have been friendly but noooo they had to try to start something
Really hope the reboot brings these guys back or an equivalent to them like the gnomes in 3. Really liked their presence and challenge of scanning the environment to find and destroy them
Breath of the wild is the closest to the gargoyle quest with the korok seeds but they took it way too dam far lol atleast it only takes like 200/900 to fully upgrade
First time I ever played Fable 2 I didn't know Gargoyles talked till I leveled up my skill. Then out of nowhere I hear a fart noise and was like WTF? Only to find it was a Gargoyle.
I mean lets be real, nobody with sense would shoot such an expensive-looking gargoyle that CAN TALK. Can you imagine the point of view of a regular citizen? To damage such an expensive and rare thing that can talk would surely anger it's owner.. Such a thing would surely land them in trouble right? Not everyone can be as carefree as the main character after all ;3
I don't know if I love this game due to nostalgia or that it just had great little bits like this which other games didn't have haha. But the gnomes in f3 I do agree started to cross the line, esp if u were the female character.

I ve seen a few Overwatch voice videos but all pail to your future interpretation of it . Still,Sky,i have not asked you properly : Do you think Overwatch voice is Judith Mossman ? The voice actor is another but as a character ... The Combine is not simple enough to please the citizens with a nice warm voice, else they wouldnt have slaughtered any men woman child or xen life form . This is Breen s doing and Mossman is working on both sides to survive and Breen has a lot of respect for Judith despite him not fully trusting her she will deliver Elli . If we go on this railroad that Gina or Cross is the voice behind Overwatch we just kid ourselves
From what I've seen, the voice actress for the overwatch also voices GLaDOS. I did do a little research into it and it could make a good video. I have a few other videos on the list, but I will possibly get around to it at some point! I personally don't think it is Judith really, it does sound similar though.
Someone should make a mod where it s Half Life 2 but everyone wears a face mask and instead of Children problem it s the air pollution problemand Freeman fights Covid 19 as Breen
