Fable the Raven | Halloween Enrichment Fun! 

"Rushing about like she's forgotten to take something out of the oven" really made me laugh! I love Fable, she is so smart and so funny. I have a Fable tote bag now, it's absolutely superb. Boop boop!

Singing the Addams family theme with a raven might be the best thing I've seen all week! Thank you, that was awesome. xD

I only just realized that, as with a human infant, a raven's mouth is the primary tool for investigating and interacting with the world.

Loved how she picked up an egg, saw there was another one in the pumpkin, put the first egg down, looked in the pumpkin, then seemed to think 'Nah, they won't both fit in my beak' and picked up the first egg again and took it away. She is not a silly bird even if she is not so hot at hiding things. 😘 mwah

I love how excited she gets. She really seems pleased with herself when she figures something out. And then her going about hiding things is so endearing. Mmmwah!

So much fun watching her and having a lazy moment on the sofa to round up a busy day at work.

So cute! This past summer I put bits of granola bar on our deck rail and watched that other Corvus -the crow - who owns that territory, take them and hide them in the grass around our trailer. We camp right on the coast of Cape Breton, NS. and the crows all mimic the seagull calls. Very funny! Lots of interesting birds of prey there - owls hunting every night, lots of chilling sounds! Bald eagles mobbed by seagulls as they attempt to travel from one fishing harbour to the next (fishermen feed them)! We also see the Great blue heron who fishes at the rocky break water. Birds - so interesting! Thanks for posting Fables Halloween!

Let me start out I'm so happy I came across your channel... I'm a fan of all types of birds... Here In the Pocono Mnts we have a wide range of birds from migratory to stationary. We're i live we have bald eagles, golden eagles, hand full of different hawks , falcons and an amazing array of song birds and Ducks, geese but believe it or not my favorite birds a big black bird. I have few nesting on my property. I try and give them some butcher scraps and road kill and reason I do this is so they stay away from nesting birds with chicks...they show there appreciation by bringing me trinkets everything from watches keys coins anything shiny.... I love my guys

Magnificent ... I especially like their feathers in bright sunlight, I see mostly a dark purple but many others of the rainbow as well.

Boop-boop. After seing the Fable videos, I have started paying more attention to a Hooded Crow that comes to our garden regularly. I started to feed him a few dog pellets, and it has developed to a point, where he comes when I whistle for him and he sometimes follows me when I walk the dog. Such clever birds :)

How Eggciting.. a Halloween egg hunt and hide. Fable knew exactly that getting the pumpkin to turn over would be easier to remove the eggs, but getting it turned over was the challenge. Love the Adams Family theme sing-along with Fable's Wha Wha..

So cute! My chickens (and guineas and turkeys) would just eat them, not hide them, LOL! Then again, they don't echo sounds back to you, either. Some of my chickens do love scritches and cuddles, though, so there is that! 😁

I was making breakfast today and the magpie strolled in, flew up to the table, helped itself to my granola, and walked out again. Funniest thing I'd ever seen, I couldn't be angry with it. 😂
