Fabricating a hammer rack 

Thank you for including that part where the metal fell over after you tack welded it. It gives great comfort to those of us who are no where near your level of craftsmanship.

It's like woodworking - never enough clamps :)

Now this guy knows where every hammer is and where it's at.....Knows what to do with em...Knows the weights...Sizes...Some nice Layout & fabrication....Lil Mig welding....Loved it. Your new nickname is Thor Jr... God Bless

I absolutely loved the part where you were aligning the tubing to ensure it was square, and you tapped it with the engineering square [WINCE!]. My first thought was "Hmm, if only he had a hammer he could do that with...." Awesome rack! I do hope that those are eight STRONG wood screws though!

That is one beautiful hammer rack Torbjörn. I also especially love the power hacksaw. I have an old “Racine Junior” and it works wonderfully. I broke the last blade for it, so new ones will have to be gotten. Eventually. Haha

Thanks, I just built myself a new shop and now have to store all my tools and materials in a smart way, I don't think I need such a big and professional rack (I don't have so many hammers nor do I need them, and chisel hammers and punches will get more over the time but for now I have only 5 or so), I think I will build a similar rack like that one from wood that you replaced :) Greetings from Germany, Edgar

I guess there is no such thing as to many hammers ^^ ... also fairly sure they once made a song about this 'I see a tool rack and i want to paint it black' (or something to that effect) ;) ... tnx for sharing, while i like the end result, i can't but think that hammerracks should probably be made out of wood, i dunno, probably some oldfashioned notion, doesn't make your rack less effective nor cool looking, just says something about my preference for tool racks ;)

Great idea, thanks for the video! I thought it was funny that you have so many hammers that you need to make a new rack for them, but then you do what most other people would do and use whatever's nearby to knock the tube into alignment 😉
