FILM ALL OF IT! That’s why we are all here. We love the process! We want to feel your excitement at the end game and the process is the build up. Plus seeing how you do all of it is just amazing and inspiring.
Everybody loves watching the little details man! Don’t put yourself down, this stuff is entertaining not at all boring! When all the old clips were coming out it was so cool to see. Keep it up bro don’t think anybody doesn’t care, everybody is here bc this stuff is cool and nobody really shows this stuff on the cars we love
No pro editing, no script in advance, no fancy music. And yet this is so unique that always leaves me wanting more. It feels like I'm involved with the car, like I'm the owner and want it to be the best R32, so please don't skip redoing stuff to make it RUST TO ZERO. Greeting from Slovenia, EU.
This doesnt get boring because no one does this kind of thing for the most part on youtube. We've all seen the "fun" parts over and over, so its nice to see different content even if it feels like its taking forever its cool to see the attention to detail and how much you are actually doing. keep it as is IMO
Lastly because you're becoming someone who can bring life back to cars. A lot of people will just drive their 32's into the ground and its a throw away, now that youre doing this process, you've become more then just a car guy. You're made it possible to give cars back their life. Don't give up bro, you're doing everyone and the car world a solid favor.
The details here are why I stick around and watch this stuff. Been watching automotive youtube for 10 years now, some channels come and go but this content is the best. I appreciate the attention to detail and workmanship in a build
Keep posting the rust removal content and keep up the good work 👌 currently addressing the rust on my s15 and taking underside back to bare metal and restoring it. Your videos are keeping me motivated 👌
You've helped a lot of people bro, im soon to import a r32 for a 1200+awhp build, and this video shows all the areas that need to be checked. But a lot of the time, you cant control or even find a perfect car due to the fact they are 30+ year old cars.
yo kalvin, im really not sure if people realize how much work this is, i feel like watching the video really doesnt proove how much work there really is =D... I also work with cars and i defenately do realise how much effort you are putting into this and its insane really, if it wasnt for youtube and all the content youre making with this ( btw its awesome content, love watching every second of it ) this could drive someone mental, seriously insane work, insane skills for your age. hats off you are a true craftsman i wish you all the luck in the future and im looking forward to new videos, keep it up=)
Yo Kalvin, I watch every video start to finish and love every minute of it. We’re all rooting for you bro. The increase in content is great, don’t forget to take care of yourself while you’re at it.
This is great remember watching you build the 180 200 or 240 depending on where you are in the world great content keep it coming bro good to see you back
I enjoy watching your boring videos! It's interesting to see the different layers come off,and actually see how things are put together. Keep em coming
Hey it may be worth you looking at the eastwood roll on epoxy primer it simplifies the process on keeping the bare steel protected and its a coating you can leave on when it comes to paint
Cant wait till u upload next vlog! Good work. I know its a lot of work but the feeling after this work when u sit inside for the first time and turn the key is worth it!
Love the detailed vids and rebuild stuff !! Also this gtr was so rusted im actually mind blown how much rot was on this thing had to have sat in a field for years and when prices started shooting up someone cheaply reapaired it and sold it .
If you are installing the ABS back in the car and don’t want to pay a fortune for a new unit, get a used Z32 one. As you probably know the ABS unit in Z32 is inside the car which keeps them in almost new condition. The heat from the exhaust manifolds in the R32 is what cooks the O-rings in the unit and makes them leak. You need to swap the connectors from your R32 unit to the Z32 one, but that is a fairly easy job as the connectors can be disassemled and the pins click from connector to another. Did this swap in mine and it works flawlessly (mine leaked also and rotted a hole in the wheel arch 😭)
I`m restoring a Toyota MR2 and was scammed pretty good too and do a close process like you (not to the extend removing every panel) but the work you do is always awesome and helped me too along the way :) keep going ;)
Keep it coming, loving it bro. Aim to do some big view videos of different content in between. Even just pov cruising the streets in the 300 to and from work
Kalvin, i THINK you shouldn’t use aluminum rivets for steel, i remember in metal shop they said it would cause dissimilar metal and galvanic corrosion, but just double check, amazing work so far!
