I just want to thank you. This is something ive wanted to do for the 5 years ive owned my 240sx and I've never really found a solid video and I was always told it was extremely hard, but you've simplified it enough for me to understand and feel confident in myself to take this on myself.
DSP and EQ are pretty cool. I saw the thumbnail for this video and thought for sure you had MONEY hiding in your hand 😂 Universal for any car project 😉 Keep up the hard work and thanks for the video 👍
love your videos dude and i'm so impressed by this rebuild tiny bit of feedback on the video, for the sped up part with the voice, it is so hard to listen to. i muted the vid. i would prolly just put some music over sped up parts that have voice cause it is so hard to listen to. anyways, take care bro and look forwards to more vids 🙏🏼🤙🏼
Pls will it work for my lexus 2jz IS300.its smoking blu3 and its killing plugs 3 and 4.when plugs come out,a lot of dirt, gunk on the electrodes. Will seafoam work or should i soak pistons with t4 brake fluid..
Please don't buy it. I have one for $300 and the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. Apple CarPlay is simply not stable and sometimes it just freezes.
Looks like haltech is working on a connect app. Stands to reason, that head unit should be able to interface with the ecu. It's just and android device.
Nice to see a little content pop up on the Z. These radios have gotten so affordable that it’s really hard to justify not putting them in anything that you drive frequently. I just wish they’d give me the volume knob back
Too bad you can so easily notice the sponsored content and lack of authenticity in your voice and the whole video. But if they pay you I'm all for it, every lifestyle needs a sponsor
He literally mentioned it's sponsored. You're wording it in such a way that makes it seem like he is trying to sneak the sponsored content into the video😂
I use an Atoto F7 WE in my 99 A4, they're incredible value for money! Mirroring video from your phone is usually done through Mirror Link by plugging your phone in to the USB and it's honestly not worth the effort, just find a way to play video via Car Play. I use Android Auto so can't help with it but I can find modded apps everywhere for Android so that's worth a look too
I’m a car installer and have a Z32, the A pillars are notorious for breaking when you pull them off so I’m glad it went smooth for you to run the wires under 😂 I did mine the ugly way bc I wasn’t trying to destroy the clip mounts
If the audio unit has the android play store, you may be able to use it to display gauges that the haltech sees. Just like if they had the vg30 you could use a plms cable and run nds and display gauges on the unit
Ahh So you basically just painted over a bunch of rusty parts but did not do any actual maintenance to the engine.. I would not call that a restoration at all, that is just a paint job and a bad one at that you painted over rusty studs without even wire brushing the rust off! If you are going to the effort of stripping it down all that way why wouldn't you do a front and rear main seal, a new water pump, a timing belt, a timing belt tensioner, new exhaust manny studs and gaskets everywhere? These are just common things that need to be done on a 1JZ or 2JZ given their age.
