One beautiful Stellar Red Meteor with a few choice add-ons, some beautiful Iowa roads and the month of February...wait, February? Yup...Let's go for a ride. Wahoo! Baxtercycle.com
I nearly purchased this Stellar Red model 2 years back. But was still on sick leave, and wasn’t sure re my work, so my answer at the time was , you can’t live in a motorcycle. A year later medical retirement in place, I bought a fireball yellow one, with heated grips and 638 miles on the clock. Now I have put, many extras on here. I only got a 27 inch inside leg a had the low seat, still on tippy tip toes, don’t install confidence. I now got a the Touring seat that has been lowered by at least 30mm😊 so I now get a more feet on ground, not flat footed. Got the DNA, de cat, red rooster etc. Just waiting to get. The. Cam fittted, and fuel x. What a great bike, total enjoyment.
I think these Meteors are amazing motorcycles. Hoping to borrow this particular bike, if not sold yet, for a 300-400 mile day ride. Love these motorcycles!
Congratulations on your new Guzzi! Let's hope that the good weather isn't too far away. Been poring over maps for this years rides, planning to visit as many of the castles in the UK as I can, there are roughly 4000 so might take a few years!! Getting excited lol!
I had a Hunter a few weeks back when my SM was in for 5k service. Was a very nimble bike, but that 350 is a lump. So underpowered I actually didn't feel safe in traffic.
R. E , should have put a 450 engine in it would be perfect it just needs a bit more power ,it is a nice bike all the same , May be R, E, could build one withe a 450 in it for over seas sales right now it might be missing out on some sales because the lower power ,jimmy Aust
I've been thinking about getting some saddlebags for my Meteor 350. What kind of bags are those and what were the brackets that they mounted them with? Thanks.
Do you own the Moto Guzzi V7 in your garage? I like it! I am wondering if you had to choose between the meteor or the V7, which would you go with for the riding position? Btw the the Meteor 350 came in a super nova like the one you’ve been riding. They came with the windshield and back rest also raised badging on the gas tank and came in two tone colors. Stellar red and Stellar blue and Brown. Love the content for sure!
I just bought that V7 and have only rode it a bit over 100 miles. Not sure how it will do on the long ride but aim to find out. Do love this Meteor 350, it's a loaner from Baxtercycle.com but am planning to do several long rides on it to test how it does. The Meteor is very comfortable on the road. Wahoo!
@@forgottenmotorcycles I kinda figured you might have boughten the V7, cause i didn’t see it on their website. Can I ask what you had to give for that? I just bought a 2023 Meteor super nova brown with 3000 miles on it from a dealer in Minneapolis a month ago. I haven’t been able to ride it much, but seems like a good fit for me. The V7 looks like a lot less effort to maintain. So I’m hoping you’ll do more reviews on it and will have input as to whether it’s a great bike to own. Thanks for all your doing, it’s very inspiring to see you out there showing us all these flavors of bike. Wahoo!
