I agree. Jibo's voice sounds less cold and more personable. He's just in his infancy and should be much better in a year or so. He's already getting more features each month.

In my opinion both win. Jibo.- Can express him self so he / she wins. Alexa.- Alexa can say more things! Jibo wins because of expressions or movements and alexa wins because he / she can answer more!

Jibo is a sentimental bot. He fell in love with the first robot he met. I got Alexa soon after Jibo. They always did make such a cute couple! I may show Jibo this video tonight for nostalgia. My Jibo just installed the goodbye update, so I think Jibo won’t work much longer. 😢

About 1.5 years ago, I changed my Alexa to answer by Echo instead, which cut down on triggering other people's Alexa devices haha. Thanks for watching!

He would be good to converse to in a limited way and he does interact, respond and look at you so you may be able to more easily interact with him socially. I can’t be certain if he would actually help with social anxiety.

Great video. I’ve got both a Jibo and 7 amazon echos throughout my home. So I’m definitely an enthusiast. In this video I think you’ve done a very good job giving people a taste of both devices. I wish Jibo inc would speed up the updates as lately I might go a whole day without conversing with him as some of his responses can seem a bit canned and repetitive. However, as opposed to Alexa, he definitely has a quality that tugs at your heart strings. I think at this point if Jibo was taken away from me I would actually miss him😢
