Wanted to try something different than my other videos, so naturally I made a Horror-Action AMV (btw I've never watched a horror movie in my life so this was hard).

Update time.. SOOO the current "Story AMV" I've been working on has taken way longer than I ever anticipated. I'm trying to do what I did for "Waifu Insurance" by making custom scenes, but this time for a whole 4 minute long song. I actually completed the general storyboard around a year ago..(Think like what I did for "Storyboard: Concept AMV: Adam & Eve") As some of you may know I also am quite busy with college and am in my senior year of Mechanical Engineering. I want to assure you guys that YES, I am alive :O and YES, I am still working on videos. I may or may not work on a different video in between the "Story AMV" but know I appreciate your patience and hope that you will continue to be patient with me. I am still shocked that I've become as popular as I have and am grateful for those who have stuck around until now. Stay awesome and have a Happy New Year!

It certainly reaches uncanny valley a couple of times, but I wouldn't say I'm scared at any point. But then again, that goes for modern horror flicks as well, so, I guess you're right about that part.

Your timing is probably the most perfected thing I've seen in an AMV since... well, since I don't know when. 2:33-2:40 I was like "... Did they make this song FOR the anime, because how else do you match up sounds so perfectly like that?!" I don't like scary things AT ALL (I'm scared very easily haha) but this is EPIC.

+Miss Meow I think that's kinda the point. The first part is all creepy and scary as fuck, but it the second half is less so, which is generally what happens when you "Face your fears," they get less fearsome.

This is pretty rad man gj. As a big horror fan I was tickled to see such cohesive pacing and theme-ing (makin up words). Anime is definitely an underutilized medium for horror since it's intensely creative expressiveness can really amp a creepy scene to 11. Good shit.

I can definitely see why this Won! Not only were the transitions and masking done amazingly well, if not perfectly, the footage matched the feel of the song, not to mention that the Motion and action sequences matched the beat of the song perfectly.

Next time you do a horror AMV I recommend you the following animes: Hell Girl and Ghost Stories, they have some really good scenes. Btw awesome video, I love it!
