Several types of therapy are offered at Scottish Rite for Children Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center in Frisco.
Our athletic trainers bring years of expertise to the clinic to enhance our sports medicine services while our physical therapy department works with patients to help them develop or maintain maximum movement and ability.
Scottish Rite for Children athletic trainers evaluate and educate on diagnoses and treatment, including exercises. Unlike most health care professionals, the background of an athletic trainer includes sport-specific and position-specific training and care experience.
Our physical therapists also perform various tests to determine the patient’s range of motion and muscle strength and make recommendations for walkers, crutches and other durable medical equipment best suited to the child’s needs.
