Yeah, as well as the misunderstanding of being more environmentally friendly. The lithium ion batteries manufacturing emissions have been found to be more damaging on the environment than driving a VW Polo TDI for 5 years. As well as Toyotas 1:6:90 rule, electric cars are a lot more damaging than petrol. The reason it's seen to be more plant friendly by your average consumer is because after manufacturing, the EV isn't actively producing any emissions.

@@hayleywilkinson7971 I feel like we'd be past those admittedly very serious issues by now, if car companies hadn't doubled down over and over on suppressing any and all R & D into electric cars for decades and decades. At least we've started now... hopefully not completely too late for the whole "habitable planet" thing to keep being a thing.

@wilkinson7971 This manufactoring batteries being so bad for the environment thing is a bit of a myth. Yes the emisssions from making the batteries are high, but they are not significantly different from the emissions needed to make a ICE car. Comparing the emissions of manufactoring for one type of car to the emissions of running for another type of car is very misleading. Not to mention the fact a VW Polo, especially a new one, is quite a small economical car. If you compared the emissions from manufactoring electric cars to the average ICE car, or some of these stupid monster truck SUVs that americans use to carry their briefcase to work, I imagine it would look a lot different. Lithium ion and other car battery manufacturing is also a very relatively new technology and improvements are being made all the time, for instance boomers love to bring up cobalt but the latest tesla batteries don't even use cobalt anymore so it's a bit of a null point seen as it's already being phased out

@@MoonlitEmbers010 common misconception, but it's not true. the reason they're thicker at the bottom is because of old glass-making techniques, basically they blew a massive glass balloon and flattened it then cut it into pieces. the pieces taken from the edge were thicker, so they put the thicker edge on the bottom for stability and to prevent water accumulating. modern glass is close to perfectly flat because the molten glass flows ontop of a lake of molten metal!

To be honest, I feel like 0 to 1 is a perfect score unless you find yourself meeting two or more very special guys and/or lose one at some point. No shaming if people want to fool around a bit, but... quality before quantity. Personal connection matters. A lot. To reach 1000 by age thirty would require a woman to (if my math is about right) bone one new random dude every four days from the day she turns 18 (I choose to assume she won't lie about her age to get a head start), until her 30th birthday.
