I need to know something, you try the bite blocks in the mouth they look straight, but when you mount them they look slanted at an angle, so do I setup according to my bite blocks or do I setup straight ??

Hi! Thanks alot for the amazing vedios! Really appreciate your work. I was confused if taking facebow during the occlusal rim appointment is different from using a fox plane to check the alignment? Does facebow and fox plane serve the same purpose or they are different? And if they are different, then which one is performed first?

Fox plane is used first, then facebow record is done.

I wanted to know how to manage the maxillary rim after we take off the bite fork after facebow trasfer and mount maxilla on articulator

Edentulous Fork has to be removed from the rim by selective heating and then corrected. Another way is to make notches on the rim (lthe nick and notch) and use a dentulous fork with putty/bite registration aluwax for the facebow record.
