Garden vs cemetery What’s the difference? A memorial garden is a cemetery that only allows flat markers. A cemetery allows any type of monument (upright or flat) monuments allow families personalization but a garden offers more of all are equal and same. Just saying
My brother and grandparents are all buried in the same cemetery just within feet of each other. They are only allowed flat marker's. While just across the road from them as if you got out of your passenger side of your car are stand ups. I had decorated his grave for his 1st Christmas some what like President Kennedy's 1st grave. With the little white fence and white chain with ball's you hang on the Christmas tree. I was forced to take the decorations down. While, 20+ other grave's remained decorated.
@@sativarosegold3604 that's what I thought to. We own the plot's why can't we have uprights and be able to decorate the way we want as long as it's tasteful.
Seeing the children's graves is so terribly sad, I can't imagine losing one of mine. Completely heartbreaking. Some beautiful words on the stones. Thank you for another lovely upload Lamont ❤️
My grandmother lost 3 kids in the same year as adults. She also died the that year from a broken my heart my mom was the only one left shes never gotten over it
Lamont your videos show so much respect for people who have passed. I want to thank you for all your respect! My father was placed on hospice 4 days ago and his journey is about over. I’ve had such a hard time with this, am finding comfort in your videos. I’m watching a lot of them and it truly is soothing to know there are such beautiful places for him to rest. Thank you!
First off, that was a beautiful cemetery. Secondly, you said a man should teach his son all those things. I have a son-in-law teaching his son how to be a man. How to treat women right; to open doors for them; to say please and thank you, etc. He's a really good man.

Kristin Miller’s obituary read that she "was preceded in death by her best friend, her horse, Stickers." I can just imagine how much pain she must have been in. It’s lovely that you make these videos-you bring these people to life again, if only for just a moment. Thank you for posting them.
This is the absolute most beautiful cemetery I have ever seen you film at. I also have never seen a pond of any kind, much less a duck pond built in a cemetery. That was sooo neat! Another great video, my friend. Keep safe out there. Love you Lamont!
Such a pretty cemetary. I'm from California and the cemeteries there are very well kept. Lots of grass, nice. I moved to NM and the cemeteries here are unkempt dirt lots. It's really sad
Hey Lamont, thank you for the upload, i am watching some of your videos. discovered your channel just the other day, and loving it. I am not very taken by the idea of solar lamps at the graves. its like lighting up the cemetery at night, and that would be spooky. what I DO like is that fact you comment on being responsible and try to teach those - a very good lesson, its fine to say to people don't speed, wear your seatbelt, be careful of violent ex's - but you are SHOWING them what has happened to the people who were not so careful. Why is this a powerful lesson, they see the young life cut short, and stats do not really influence people. Showing the graves and finding out what happened to these people is a good lesson to learn - for all those out there that do the same thing. This type of thing should be used in adverts for safety!! Show them the consequences of their actions. Stop them becoming another statistic another body in the cemetery!! Well done you!!
It reflects on the city, on how the cemeteries are kept, and how the homeless are cared. A father driving that reckless would not have been a great role model.

When I saw the one where the baby was only a month or two old when he passed I lost it. I’m bringing a little girl into this world this month and I could never imagine losing a child. I lost my sister when she was 5 weeks old though I never met her. I miss her so much
Hi Lamont seeing these graves are so heartbreaking and terribly sad 😞 these children passed away way to young. I can’t even imagine what these heartbroken parents go through everyday knowing that there children are gone forever😭 I have 2 young son’s myself ages 11 and 8 and I can’t ever imagine losing them to anything! R.I.P. sweet babies for you are with god and all his angels👼

I am a Las Vegas native and I can remember the accident that killed Jahlonn Williams. He and his little sister were hit by an 18 year old impaired driver. His sister was ejected through the windshield. I can remember feeling overwhelmingly sad because it happened on Mother’s Day and a mother was about to receive the worst possible news. Luckily, his sister survived her injuries. I can’t believe this happened in 2013. I feel like it wasn’t that long ago. I think about this every time I pass that intersection.

Some of these people were so young! My goodness! Keep up these videos! The dead live on through memory and through the voices of the living. Once that stops, they're truly dead. You're keeping their spirits alive.
