9-11 was a terrible day. I was 11 in 5th grade. Our teacher was teaching a lesson. The loud speaker came on, we were told we had to leave early, they wouldn't tell why. Then i heard about the tragedy on the radio in my aunt car. I remember crying saying "I don't want to die"😩😢 My mother loss one of her friends in the attack. He worked on the 114th floor of the 2nd tower I believe. Never forget the lives lost. Thank you Lamont, beautiful video.
I ate at the restaurant in Tower 1 in November of 1977. Seeing the 911 memorial you showed gave me chills. Thank you for all you do and the interesting content you provide. Be sure to take care of yourself.
Tiredness? He's fine. His eyes always look the same. But he also works and after work does his videos but also when the sun is in your eyes all day, they can look tired.
My best friend was in NY for a meeting in one of the towers. He used to live in the City but moved to Charlotte where his corporate headquarters were located, and just happened to be in the City for a meeting. The first plane hit just above the floor he was on and he was able to get out. He was half a block away when the tower fell. It was hours later before he could call to let anyone know he was alive. His photo was on the front page of USA Today in line going down a stairwell as a firefighter was going up. The firefighter made it out alive also. Will never forget 9/11.
Two videos in one day really enjoyed watching them still as respectful as ever please keep doing what you do & thank you for giving me the opportunity to see these places and learn about the people in them .🙏🙏
I knew a Pilot on that Flight. I am a former Airline Employee. I went back to NYC World trade Center immediately. I used to eat at the former Windows of the World a lot. The waiters, staff everyone died, many Children lost their Parents.
9/11 touched me in so many ways. I am in the uk and I remember that day so vividly, I watched the whole thing unfold for 20 hrs straight. I will never forget that day. Thank you for sharing Lamont. x
Same I remember my mother picking me up from school that day as it was happening got home and watched it live on the news saw the first and second tower collapse live :(
I'm in the uk too. And I remember innocently asking someone I was standing with, "Where did the planes go?" (I'm a higher functioning autistic.) My reasoning at the time was, that lots of planes go by buildings, but they don't usually disappear. So what's happened? Nobody would tell me. I was just met with blank stares. Years later I saw a documentary called 9/11 firehouse. That's when I found out what really happened. I think if I ever go high up in a building like that, I will want to wear a parachute, in case that ever happened again, and I was caught up in it! Then I could escape safely!
Sadly, I lost 3 beloved friends in 9/11. I was watching the news when the plane hit and I will never forget the horrified people jumping from the tower. Thank you for sharing and stay safe my friend ❤
I remember watching the planes hitting the towers and sitting on my sofa in absolute shock. We in the UK couldn't believe it and were incredibly saddened by the loss of life. We've had our own terrorist attacks before and after 9/11. I will never forget.
Dear Charlotte, I will never forget either. Let us remember, as we are in God's embrace, the suffering and the deaths of so many innocent people. Remember the fragility and sanctity of all human life. Do not forget the people, men and women, who were violently yanked out of existence. Maintain hope. I am not prone to any sort of religious fervor. But I tell you the truth. God is with us always. In our mortal lives and in our eternal lives.
I was teaching my class when 911 hit. In shock to view planes crashing into the twin towers on television. Thanks for showing this to us, lots of great information.
Someday Lamont, if you go to Dallas, I would love for you to go to Laurel Land Cemetery and see one of my all-time favorites, Stevie Ray Vaughn, one of the greatest. I'm sure you will do him justice in speaking about him as you do with so many others....
Thanks for finding these graves and sharing them, and stories about their occupants with us. You’re a good man! I have never forgotten and will not ever forget! I will always remember those who ran in when everyone else were trying and hoping to get out!
Thank you Lamont!!! This video was incredible, and this cemetery is incredible, can't wait for the next one!!! This is one of my most favorite video's!!
Another great video and from my home state of Texas. I wish you had given a hint as to whose grave you will be coming back to and telling their story. I am looking forward to it. I love your stories.
You are the epitome of what a "man" is Brother..a shining example! Tho we have never met, I feel we share a kindred spirit, and I am PROUD to call you my friend!
Appreciate you and locations you go. I’ll never see. The stories, unspoken stories I’d have never heard , but watching you . Appreciate you. Thanks and take care.
Wow I live in Austin TX and have never seen this. Thanks for opening up my eyes to this and these wonderful people who have sacrificed so much for this great state. May They All Rest in Peace
Sir. I appreciate your efforts in giving those folks who have passed away for whatever reason a new life of sorts. While there are some who because of abominable behavior do deserve ignominity the majority of the souls who have gone before us deserve to be remembered and have their lives celebrated just like we the living would like to be remembered. Keep up the good work. 👍👍👍👍
Thank you Lamont. I am very touched by the Memorial to those that lost their lives in 9-11. I was driving to work in Vancouver when I heard it. When I got to my office I was telling a co-worker about it and she burst in to tears. Her sister worked in one of the towers. Fortunately she had called in sick that day so wasn't there. I think of that day often. Once again, Thank you Lamont for what you do.
You do a great service to the past dead! Its so sad to see the broken stones, I love the bird feeder idea, very thoughtful and caring thing to do, thank you!!
Lamont you are the best in everyway possible you got so much admiration and respect to the dead that I appreciate you for doing it and making these videos cause these are all stories we need to here
thank you very much Lamont. sharing my home state. God bless you stay safe and peace be with you always and all reading this comment stay safe and well out there
Lamont...thank you for what you are doing. I am Australian but remember the 9/11 horror which appeared on our screens just before I was ready to retire for the night. Possibly the worst disaster I can recall seeing ever. It stays with us and yes I do go back and watch videos of that dreadful day. Keep up your excellent work please!
I was just 30 when the trade centre got destroyed. I was doing my first of 2 induction days at a local music college, near where I live.(U.K). It was 2pm gmt, when the induction day ended. The college is on top of a pub, and we all had decided to have a "getting to know each other session," that afternoon, to finish the day. Opposite the college, there are a couple of night clubs. They open at 6pm. One of the girls happened to glance out the window, and commented that one of them was already open. I replied that they don't open that early. So I went across to the window to see. Not only was the club open, but their t.v. screens were switched to BBC News 24. I couldn't see what the screens were showing, as we were too far away, and 2 storeys above the top of the night club. But the fact that the cub was open, coupled with a sea of people out in the street, told me immediately that something was very wrong. I've had to watch footage back to understand what happened that day, 'cos I couldn't get my head round it. At the time, I was just puzzled, as to where the planes had disapeared to.Being a higher functioning autistic makes you see the world totally differently to everyone else, and that's not always an advantage!
They hit not only world trade center but the Pentagon and let's remember the heros who would not allow the terrorists to when they took down a plane in a field
No plane came down in that field and there were no bodies. When the space shuttle came down, there were bodies. But the coroner went to that field and was only there a short time because there were no bodies!! The planes landed else where and people were taken underground for nefarious purposes.
This channel is not only way cool and respectful but it offers some really good wisdom and wise words. Man I can't help it but this made me think about King of the Hill because of Tom Landry R.I.P. I'll tell ya whut.
May God bless you for telling us about this video 🙏 the world is a horrible place. Maybe some day it will change but until then we have to take each day as it comes . So many very good people have been taken from us & with you doing what you do they will never be forgotten . God bless you & keep you safe our friend keep up your good work 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lamont, you are a thoroughly decent human being. I am Australian and it's because of Americans like you, we have had such a close relationship throughout the years, in good times and bad.
9/11 will never be forgotten. I remember I was home alone with my newborn (12 days old) son. I was in total and complete shock. Then, confusion and fear set in. My mum called me and said pack a bag because she was coming to pick the baby and I up. At that moment, we didn’t know what was going on so she wanted us altogether. R.I.P. to all who lost their lives on that fateful day 😔
Exactly! Never forget 911 was an inside job. America attacked it's own. It sucks. I had an uncle in building 7 that was a controlled demolition, nothing hit that building and in one video you can hear one of the guy says pull it, which if you're the military, means hit the ignition for a controlled demolition. After that, I never forgot and will never forgive our own country.
@@Silenced23 You are 100% correct! Watch the video "Loose Change" or "911 Contrived". Interesting how all the beams fell the same size so they were easy to load on the trucks to go to Staten Island and be guarded. Why do you need to guard rumble? What did Hitler do when he wanted to bring in repressive laws in Germany? He burned the Reichstad and blamed it on his enemies. And by the way NOTHING hit Bldg 7--they indeed "pulled" it--all the gold was under there and certain records they wanted destroyed--Enron if I remember correctly.
Thank you Lamont at large for doing what you do in such a respectful manner.. please continue sharing your videos and helping to give voices to those who are no longer with us.. many thanks and grattiutied to all those who served and sacrificed so much for us by sacrificing so much for us and our country for our freedom and rights to be protected i along with many others admire and respect all pur veterans and soldiers.. god bless and be with you along your travels stay safe
Crazy I clicked on this video on the 20th anniversary of that horrific day. R.I.P. to all those lost that day😢 Lamont thank you for telling all these peoples stories

Always nice to hear from You Lamont take Care God Bless.
I will never forget 9/11 because I was stationed in Diego Garcia on employment and when I heard the news come through our camp I just remember standing there crying and one of our lieutenants asked me was OK and I said no and he just held me and I cried!!! 🙏🏽😓
You do a great job with this especially a person who is interested in helping people remember the average Joe not just the well known God bless you keep up your purposeful work
I had the good fortune of hearing Sarah Weddington speak. She was an amazing lawyer and a tireless advocate. I will never forget 9/11 either. That news was on my morning alarm. I thought it was a prank at first. It’s hard to describe the shock that I and everyone else I knew felt when we saw it. We knew that things would never be the same again.
I've watched a lot of people go to Cemeteries and they were good some had very interesting graves.. Some famous people in the middle of nowhere which was hard to get to !! But you my friend are the most enjoyable to listen to !!YUP! The details you explain are dead on and informative. !!! And supper interesting and you do muti graves at the same time that are very interesting .. And i notice you bring a friend when it's a very serious story of murder grave.. which is cool.. sometimes to have a buddy go with you...
Hey pretty Lady, beautiful picture on your profile, I don’t ever want to see that pretty face look sad, just keep smiling because it makes you look more beautiful.
Bro, you need to take a road trip to Charleston, SC. One of the most historic cities with some of the most historic graveyards. If you ever get here, I can show you some of the cool, interesting ones.
Hi Lamont ..another really interesting video completed, and Thankyou as always for all the trouble and driving/walking you go to in order to share so much. I’m in the U.K., so would never get the chance to visit these places and pay my respects to those who have sadly passed, so you are my champion as far as that goes! 👏🏻👏🏻🌈🙋♀️😘 one last thing, I did try and message you to tell you in the last few videos this one inc, there is something in the camera lense ,screen is or whatever, almost in the middle, looks like it might be a cobweb or strand like tobacco . Excuse me for mentioning this, but thought you should know so you can remove it, ok? Warm wishes and thanks again. Keep up the good work. I particularly like that you google some people to get the story if their passing. Too many car accidents, murders, and people far to young to die, leaving young children/babies behind when they had their whole lives ahead of them. I wish guns and fast cars could be banned...save more lives maybe! Perhaps wishful thinking in the US, but I can dream. God bless you Lamont. Your lovely deep resonant voice is perfect for what you do here.🙋♀️😘🌈💐🥰
I remember too. I had just started my shift at work and customers would come in and ask if we heard what had happened. I was working retail and there was no tv or radio playing. I was dumbfounded. I got off that afternoon and saw it on tv, and I couldn't believe what I was looking at. Oh no, nothing like that would happen here, to us. I felt vulnerable, scared, and everything just felt ominous. All that week was just so eerie with no sounds in the air from the usual aircraft that flew or hustle and bustle.
Thanks for doing all of these videos. I enjoy them very much, especially the ones in Texas. Just wanted to mention that after James E. Ferguson served as Governor for two years - 1915 to 1917, his wife Miriam A. "Ma" Ferguson served TWO separate terms as Governor of Texas herself -- 1925 to 1927 and 1933 to 1935. That's worth a mention. We learned about her in Texas History in junior high school, back in the olden days. Ha! Anyway, keep up the good work.
this is one of your better videos. very nice. a word about 911, I don't feel a thing. I watched the towers get hit and fall down from my VA hospital bed, and felt nothing. still don't feel anything. Probably never will. and to me, that's a good thing. I am not encumbered with emotions. I have seen too much death, I have killed and seen people killed to the point, that it doesn't matter. nothing matters. My ex killed our 3 children and I never went to their funeral and have no idea where they are buried. emotions cause horrific pain and mine died in the jungles of vietnam. you seem to have great compassion and concern for these people and that's admiral. that's why I watch you every day. you are doing a good thing. I am proud of you because you are doing what I wish I could do. when you get to Florida (Daytona Beach area) send me a shout, I would love to treat you to my favorite German restaurant.
I am catching up on the older videos. I am so glad you used the words “chose their fate” instead of saying suicide. One man was denied burial in the family cemetery because they said he committed suicide. I was so angry he didn’t commit suicide he just chose the way to die.
