Known as the son of Africa, Dr. Sam Nujoma is the former president of Namibia. A revolutionary and an anti- apartheid activist. He was named the 'Leader of the Namibian Revolution' as he was the central figure in the liberation struggle that brought independence to the country and has remained equally central to the policies and practices that have shaped Namibia.

One of the most corrupt leaders africa has ever seen. He enriched himself and his family at the expense of the namibian people. He is a discrace. And due to his bad example corruption has thrived ever since. People have died for independence. Independence we still do not have today. As we are still dependant on south africa 🇿🇦 for everything, from food to electricity. The namibian people has become poorer since independence and the public services has drastically deteriorated.

He implemented Agriculture Etunda irrigation scheme, the backbone of Namibian. He could do more then that, but time and age is not on our side. He is more then a leader. Nujoma had so much "love for the people" that he sent young PLAN cadres barefoot and ill-equipped into their certain death in the hands of ruthless Koevoet death squads. And instead of allowing prosecution of the perpetrators after he came to power, he essentially granted them blanket amnesty.

Now it is the best time to learn History directly from the source, in the past there was no youtube, we were just taught from books at school, but today we can watch them and listen to them. The lessons we learn must be ONE UNITED HUMAN RACE who don't repeat the same mistakes of the past but make our world a better place for all of us as humans who live together with dignity, honour and respect on Earth as our planet and home for all of us.

@multifaceteddoall 2 года назад
@@TomyKlauss The constitution of Namibia was changed to allow Nujoma to run for a third five-year term in 1999; this was justified on the grounds that he had not been directly elected for his first term, and the change applied only to Nujoma. He won the 1999 election with 76.8% of the vote. The constitution did not allow Nujoma to run in November 2004 for a fourth term, and there was not much enthusiasm even within SWAPO to change it again. Source: Wikipedia.
