What does ODST drop mean ?

@@ObusPerduYT when you shot down a helicopter a few of the guys inside would survive if it was carrying an infantry squad. So you could helicopter rush a point without necessarily having to worry about landing before getting shot down. Hence ODST drop. They changed it a long time ago tho.

Yeah, the only problem with the last version was the whole squad would survive and drop on high cohesion if I remember correctly. If they could do it where like half a squad survived, etc on lowest cohesion then it would be a really nice change and actually make helicopters more useful in decks

Not sure it was a massive advantage, he killed a few key units but was around even on territory. Long game he has worse tanks and worse infantry.

​@@rcmwalker1987 If there is any problem with 1st UK its the cost of the Tornado bombers. The infantry is a bit overpriced, but their recon infantry are way better than 3rd Armored. They also have what I would argue is one of the best ATGM cards in the game, the Milan 2 in Spartan MCT. Its supposed to be a more well-rounded Armored deck with a strong air tab, but the meta favors cheap bombers due to the strength of IR AA against planes. I know the Challenger is not great, but to say 1st UK ARMORED has "worse tanks" than 101st AIRBORNE is ridiculous hyperbole. Just the fact that 1st UK can afford to take all their tanks on trained vet already makes them better than the M1IP, thats true for the Challenger Mk.2 but they can also overmatch the M1IP with the Mk.3 on top of that.

@@lateralus2612 I do agree with all until you fail to see the weakness of the challengers. They do have good recon, probably the best for an armoured div. As an armoured div it's supposed to have higher availability than the airborne/Helo div, but the quality of the units themselves after that are poor. The slow speed, mediocre accuracy and terrible reload combined to make the worse heavy tanks in the game. (chieftain can be good for the price however). The idea that you can upvet more because you have better availability certainly helps but is a minor improvement. Especially as you don't know who you will be facing before you queue.

You can have NATO v NATO or PACT v PACT in ranked. Can also happen in team games but I believe 10v10 is always NATO v PACT
