I agree, but I think it would be significantly less fun if it didn't exist. Maybe if they instead changed it to something casualty-based as well as occupying Vladivostok since the Soviets had taken a beating from Barbarossa, I doubt they'd want a drawn-out land campaign in Asia

​@@Curtwhogames Just played it myself: 1. I abandoned all land except mainland japan and little bit bordering Soviets 2. Built state AA and radar stations with 100 fighters above for air superiority, equipped troops with support AA and arty+1 line arty, built naval bombers to deal with enemy subs 3. Spammed out 100 tier 4 subs and let them loose on 2 sea zones around Japan 4. Fought the entire world and their navies combined, over 1 year I basically wiped out all world wide navies (subs OP) 5. Reconquered entire pacific with almost no opposition whatsoever and called it a win PS. around 1949 Commintern declared on Allies and China, so you have free space to get back to the continent.
