Hi Darlene, one thing is that it is good for you to talk about how you feel and what's going on so you are already on a good track to recognizing and accomplishing things. Maybe you needed to go through all that with the bed rails to have this moment and clarity. I honestly believe that when your brother shows up you will be flooded with love and memories and you will do fine. Remember that God is in control not us. I give all of you so much credit for going through these challenges so obviously you learned one step at a time and one day at a time. Tomorrow is a new day.😊👌🧡❤💛🍂🍁
Good morning Darlene! The strong women you are it must be very hard for you to except not being able to do the things you once did. I know with my husband it must of been hard for him, once a strong man mentally and physically and then this disease takes over your body. He never said much, he kept alot of it inside which probably wasn't good for him. You are a motivation for others to keep going through the difficult times. Bless your heart again! It’s that stinking disease….you are doing better then I would be doing with it! My husband has to sleep in his recliner & my Mom has to sleep in her recliner. Bed’s hurt them…they both have arthritis. So is it possible for you to sleep in your recliner?

I know when you were in the apartment you did a lot but then you were falling, you got Claudine now it's OK just let her help you ❤️ my friend! Please be kind to yourself Darlene. I know it’s hard dealing with Parkinsons. My sisters symptoms aren’t exactly like yours but she gets very frustrated with it all. Our niece is getting married right before Christmas and my sister is having a hard time deciding if she should try to go. Everyone will be glad to see her and help willingly if needed. I told her I would wheel her in and wheel her wherever she wants to go. She just has to decide it’s going to be ok.
Good morning Darlene, I want you to know what an inspiration you are to me and I am sure everyone who views your videos. With all that this horrible disease is doing to your body you still find the strength to put out a video just about every day. You show us that no matter the circumstance there is always the possibility to have joy and be productive in our own way. I know you are struggling right now as it is so hard to loose your independence but you must remember that what your loved ones are doing for you, you would do for them in a heartbeat if the shoe was on the other foot. Hello Darlene. I’m sure everyone understands what you’re going through. If they seem upset or angry with you, I’m sure it’s seeing you like this. It can’t be easy to see their loved ones in this condition and not be able to help. This is hard on you for sure. But just remember this is hard for everyone to see. They love you and wouldn’t be their to help if they didn’t. You be strong and you be you. I’m a nurse. If you ever just need an ear to talk to let me know. You’re still you. Don’t you forget that. Darlene, I know you have to be so frustrated finding yourself unable to do things. It would be hard for anyone to accept so be gentle with yourself. Since you think your personality is changing ask your Dr if one of the meds you take could cause that. Possibly it is a side effect of a medication. Acceptance of a situation that you have no control over is very hard for anyone. You are probably doing better than you think. I hope you have a wonderful visit with your brother. Tell Claudine hi.
