Great video sir, I wanted to add that when we have numbers that are not closer to 100 and are far from multiples of 25, in that case, it will be lengthy to use the reverse methodology, I feel it will be easier to use the division by 5 formula until we get smaller factorials (in this case we need to remember 2^10 = 1024, this might n=be useful for higher power of 2).

For 99! = 25 * 3 + 24 R(99!) = (4^3) * (3! * 24!) ---------1 Now since we need the rightmost non zero digit any way I can calculate rightmost non zero digit of 24! as 24!= 5*4 + 4 and further applying 2^a * a! * b! which will give me 6 . Therefore, 24! gives 6 Putting in -------1 we have R(99!) = 4 * 6 * 6 = 4 . HOPE THIS APPLIES FOR 98! as well. Any feedback is appreciated.

For anyone trying to calculate R(98!) and got struck you have to think like this i was calculating R(98!) at last the equation was 4=9 .R(98!) DONT DO DIVISION here in your mind ,you should have the thought: what should i multiply by 9 such that 4 comes after the multiplication(LHS) automatically 6 comes as your answer This logic also satisfies for R( 99!) 4=1.R(99!) what should i multiply in 1 such that 4 comes after multiplication? answer will be 4

@@rudransh_33 I think he's referring to the classes on "speed maths" that he has done (not sure tho),, basically since 12^2 is 144 and if u do 44×44 rq it'll be 167+1670 which has 36 as its last two digits, atleast that's how I understood it

We just have to do :- 12⁵×5!=32(last two digits obtained from 12⁵)×12(last two digits obtained from 5!=84(last two non zero digits obtained from multiplying 32 & 12). So basically 84 are the 2 non zero digits of 25!

Hey, 67 is a prime number so we can't break it into factors. Approach: 67=25*2+17 4^2*2!*17!=32*17! Now: 17!=5*3+2 2^3*3!*2!=8*6*2=96 put it there in place of 17! 32*17! =32*96 ___2 R(67!)=2 Ans

The answer according to me is 4. R(67!)= 25(2) + 17. 17= 5(3) + 2 R(17!)= 2^3*3!*2! =8 * 6 * 2 = 6 => R (67!)= 4^2 * 2! * 6! = 4. Let me know if there's any error.

Sir I am having trouble with questions where a base of number is changed to octa or binary. How to solve their factorials please help. Q) A number n! is written in base 6 and base 8 notation. Its base 6 representation ends with 10 zeroes. Its base 8 representation ends with 7 zeroes. Find the smallest n that satisfies these conditions. Also find the number of values of n that will satisfy these conditions.

(12:54) Sir but what if say R(49!) Is asked, If we take R(50!) = R(49!) × R(50), rightmost of 50 is 2 and rightmost of 50 is 5, and we cannot divide 2 by 5 to get the rightmost of 49!. Sir then how to solve such qns?
