"Let's go make peace." Pascal says. "It'll be fun." Pascal says.
Never again, Pascal. Never. Again.
So, it turns out that the Factory is actually MASSIVE underneath! The situation escalated so fast that it pancaked me to the floor from the raw speed. I mean this was to be expected from Yoko Taro. I was suspicious as soon as Pascal mentioned it, and was 100% suspicious as soon as we entered the factory and saw them.
But Yoko Taro wouldn't leave it at that. No he had to take it further. It was a chillingly POWERFUL realization to see those machines who weren't part of what was going on, huddled together in fear, and begging for their lives, PLEADING for the madness to stop.
At that moment you realize it's not just you in danger, and that there are other innocent lives to consider. Innocent lives that, ultimately, you can't save.
It was cool having Pascal with us for once, but it was so great to see that 9S hadn't only recovered, but that he'd hacked into a machine ALL THE WAY FROM THE BUNKER so he could take control of it and be there with us in person to help (albeit briefly). I mean, what an entrance! And then he proceeded to hack even further into the factory's system while keeping an eye on 2B as well. A true friend and hero if I ever saw one.
It's no wonder why 2B wants 9S to "hack her system", amirite? xP
And sorry to leave this off on a cliffhanger. S***'s going down and there's just too much going on to put it into one video!
Anyway, if people want a clear distinction between religion and cults, there you go. There's a way to correctly put the distinction into words, but it should be pretty clear from this representation. You can allow yourself to be guided by an ideology and share its values, but that is different from letting one control your thinking to the point where (as represented quite literally here) you're behaving as part of a hive mind with other members. If you're being taught/told what to think, and are not taught to use wisdom and discernment (AKA thinking for yourself), that's a big red flag.
If you're taught to blow others up (whether or not you're blowing yourself up in the process), that's a big red flag.
If you're surrounded by a bunch of machines chanting to kill themselves and you in order to become gods... that might also be a red flag.
And finally, here is Wretched Automatons to compare to Wretched Weaponry and the boss music from this video - • NIER OST - The Wretche... - I am 100% positive that they used a remix of Wretched Automatons for that boss, because it has those same distinct notes that Wretched Weaponry does just SLIGHTLY different. You can also guess that I was actually messing around with the boss for viewing entertainment, because otherwise my overleveled ass would've shred it apart in seconds :|
On a related note. the 6 minutes I cut from this video are being uploaded as a separate video that will likely already be uploaded by the time you're finished with this video. I didn't wanna break the flow of the story by included that detour with this.
