Funny thing you can do is change a setting which causes every cutscene in the game to have a live-action version and it's just absurd, perfectly fitting this game.

Sadly Wuthering Waves' combat is slowly becoming more floaty and less snappy as more units that don't touch their goddamn weapons get released, feels disjointed and weird

extra note for people who have not played the game: one of the arms nico crafts for nero is one that is very soft, white, does no damage and heals a tiny bit while active. it's a vibrator for kyrie
you know the devs have the hardest hardons for Vergil. DMC4 was basically Dante collecting his brother's ability set as individual weapons (Gilgamesh-beowolf, lucifer-summoned swords, darkslayer/Yamato) while taunting Vergil's son the entire time. and this game is literally all about Vergil himself. seriously Vergil gets more respect than Dante and Sparda do combined >.>
Vergil had sex, is technically a Weeb, had an emo personality split, does roleplay as a Demon King and leaves his son to get milk twice I'd say he deserves it

I second this! For stuff like Darksiders and Soulstice (my two personal favourites in the genre). And mayhaps Heavenly Sword, Dante's Inferno, Marlow Briggs & The Mask of Death, Knight's contract, The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile... For upcoming ones, stuff like Genokids, Enenra Daemon Core, Gori: Cuddly Carnage and possibly Immortal: And the Death that Follows are looking interesting too. Would *want* to mention Clash: Artifacts of Chaos and Cookie Cutter because they're both cool games with a combat emphasis and fantastic style, but not really the same genre. Warmly recommend to check them out nonetheless.

It brings a smile to my face to hear someone so exuberantly enjoy DMC and sing its praises. I think it really has a spark to it that sets it apart from other games and keeps me, and many others, coming back year after year. Watching the DMC5 cutscenes is like coming back to an old friend. One of the things I really appreciate about cyan man’s videos is how he matches the font of the games he redubs. That or the dialogue to DMC is far more odd than I remembered.
