@@MoreFunMakingIt thanks. Just noticed all my auto corrects lol. Corrected them. Just started getting lots of spectrum repairs and enjoyed chilling to some of your repair vids
The key to this storage system is to start small. A nice small box with too much stuff in it. Then upgrade the box to something almost big enough to contain the stuff. As you get more stuff keep going with the upgrades but NEVER make the box big enough. That would spell disaster. Probably. I dont really know I never tried.
@@MoreFunMakingIt I seem to be having this tremendous difficulty with my lifestyle... ehm, I mean with finding a proper way of organizing my resistor collection. 😅 - Awh bloody!... Now I've probably sent the Vl'hurg's off on another mindless war again. 🙃
Thank you! The iron is a Pinecil. I love it! The tip is a chisel type, I cant remember the exact one but you can spot it in the pictures. Worth getting a good quality one, that will last a long time. The braid is MG Chemicals branded. Amazing stuff.
I tune RU-vid to see channels like this on my 1970 black and white rca tv set. So far I haven't been successful finding one. I tried vhf and even uhf. I was overwhelmed with joy seeing a tv character from my favorite 70's mexican show. Don Ramon. Thank you for making your work interesting and fun.
Thank you Daniel! Don Ramon! I learned something new today :D I will look him up, his face seemed very familiar to me. I'm so glad you are having fun watching me fooling about. It makes me want to do more!
RE: The comments about the owner loving it and then being a monster for putting it on fleabay... Yeah, okay, it's meant to be funny and entertaining (and it is)... but the empathic part of me takes a bit of offense... People don't live forever and their families choosing to not landfill it is a pretty good outcome for this system. Other reasons exist as well (for example, "becoming liberated from housing", or other housing changes; cognitive issues that come with age; or simply being unable to use it in the modern era, e.g. because of lack of resources and not knowing how to use the internet, etc.) Anyway, making that joke once is fine, but multiple times, it just hit me right in the feels. Somebody loved that machine. Thank you for restoring it. 🙂
Thank you for your comment. I mean that sincerely. You make an interesting point. I think these things affect us all in different ways, and while I might not have thought along the same lines as you at the time I made this that's not to say I don't think that way. I feel that as people we use humour to shield ourselves from things that can make us feel bad, and sometimes that can end up coming across as mean. I honestly wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings, and try not to with what I say and do. But with all that being said I am what I am, and I my sense of humour wont be for everyone. And that's fine. I can live with that. But thank you for watching, I hope you enjoyed the rest of the video.
