I love all birds but Robins are my favourite. They are cheeky and crafty ! However, it is awkward to feed them because they to not like pole feeders. So, I spread worms on hard ground, the reason is that a tray full of worms etc attract pigeons and magpies which monopolize the tray and deprive the little ones from having a banquet ! My garden is beginning to look like Lord Snowdon 's aviary at London Zoo ! I must point out that it will take a while for all kind of birds to get used to bird feeders. I put some on a tree and the rest in pole feeders and wait about a week before the birds start exploring. Same goes for a bird bath......wait ! Yes, patience is a must.
The European robins are so beautiful! We don’t see as many as before the migration is tough on them , hunters and cats have diminished their numbers. It’s refreshing to see that yours are thriving

The robin in my garden was quite talkative today. First it flew about then sat on the handle of the watering can before looking at me quizzically then started to sing as I was telling it that "Yes..you are a lovely, handsome bird!".
Hi I need help I have a Robin in my garden and he has lost most of his feathers from his body, he has feathers on the top of his head and his wings and I have tried local answers but no one can help so any help would be much appreciated
of course they do, it's an addictively condensed amount of calories. better to feed a bird something they evolved to eat instead of abused cow juice though.
@@Ben-vl5ew 99% of dairy comes from cows who were forcefully impregnated, had their babies stolen, and then were slaughtered after only a few years. If you want to pretend like the dairy in this video came from a free mother who got pregnant on her own accord, who never had her babies stolen, then I can also explain the abuse involved in that if you'd like.
