Hey guys, I hope you're enjoying the new series! I really love making these fast Pokemon fact style videos, so look for probably 2 a week! If you really like it and want to see it grow, consider sharing it on social media. The more attention the series gets the better! Thanks for watching guys!
I like this series. I also remembered not being able to beat Brock as a non-reading five-year old. I saw an episode of the anime explaining that water beat rock types and BAM, my preference for squirtle was born.
Pokemon Black and White were the best games in the series with well written characters and a awesome plot. Why wouldn't I agree with you and have to deal with it?
As your first Pokemon video it was pretty good. + Nice Intro + Nice format + Remembered that the anime has a different canon from the games and made the distinction. 8/10 Though a fact video is not what I thought you meant when you said you was going to do Pokemon lore
SeibenLore Maybe videos on your take of the creation myth or videos on the human characters and teams. I have always loved your videos on the individual planeswalkers and Team Plasma has a lot of well written characters so they might be a nice fit for that style of video. Thank you for the awesome videos so far! =D
You should try the Pokemon TCG I kind of want to learn it but honestly to me I think way too much like a magic player and for some reason I don't understand it. Please do videos on the TCG if you're going to do Pokemon please! Loved this one! Thanks Seiben!
in this comment section: " oh noooo seiben isn't doing mtg anymore we've had 2 Pokémon videos THE WORLD IS ENDING OMFG UNSUB!!!" seriously guys, give him a chance to go into his other interests. Pokémon is cool, and that hasn't changed just because it's in the mainstream again.
I havnt touched the card game in years and I don't play the games at a super high level. I play them with my friends mostly but I do understand the competetive scene :)
SeibenLore the card game is essentially mtg and 1v1 pokemon battles. Its really fun in its unique way. And one of my friends play the game competitively and let me tell you, it is hard. All them match up strengths and tiers take a lot out of him but its still fun. I myself play it casually. Also this is an awesome way to branch out. Pokemon is awesome and i am glad that you enjoy it!
not having the "Hello Everyone" line felt wrong. i also feel like a lot of people like the x facts about Pokemon lists instead of arbitrarily saying facts. (i think most people like structure in a video, like mtg lore is a story so it has a built in structure.) Keep trying though. its hard reaching into new subjects. Maybe you could do Pokemon lore.
Pokemon GO even affects this channel? I'm fine with that but please do alot of research. It's annoying how so many channels do pokemon videos now without actually knowing anything about pokemon, Please don't do the same mistake I really like your voice and way of explaining things :) So I'll gladly watch your pokemon too since I share the same passion And btw try to be little more specific with things such as charizard learning fly since pokemon yellow, you sort of made it sound like charizard would only learn it in Pokemon Yellow but hey small mistakes n_n Cheers!
Yeah I was speaking only Gen 1. I understand your concern. I won't say I'm the greatest when it comes to pokemon info, but I've played every single game since the beginning so it's not like I'm a fair weather fan. I'll put as much effort into these videos as I do my MTG videos.
I can see that and you did give some good information overall :) I'm just trying to point out some bad things/mistakes that happen with most new poketubers. I generally love your videos and I know you can do well even with pokemon! I'm as interested in your pokemon videos as your MTG videos so keep up the good work man
Thanks sieben needed the reassurance ur one of the last uncontaminated left XD after the fourth wave hit(Pokemon go) it wiped out most of the mtg players left now u and mana source r left
+SeibenLore personally I loved this vid. I like the channel diversity and was fascinated by your interest in Pokémon. Reminds me of what Mtg degree did as far as channel diversity. keep it up.
Love the video Seiben! If you're intersted you should look into the Pokemon TCG, both MTG and the Pokemon TCG were created by Wizards of the Coasts so they share a lot of similar mechanics, like how MTG uses a mana system, Pokemon uses an energy system
